Perfect Location and size for two

We’ve stayed at Orient Beach many times over the years. The reconstruction of Alamanda has worked perfectly due to its immediate access to the beach, pool, and 5 minute walk to restaurants and stores.The communications with the property manager were so quick, most important this trip due to temp water issue related to worker strikes.

Gorgeous perfect place!

This was an amazing place right on the beachfront - walk out the private security gate and you are within yards of the best beaches on the island, multiple beach front restaurants, beach loungers, and the most beautiful walking track on the water- Our host was always available by text for anything we needed or any questions and on our last morning - she was there in person to say goodbye at our check out time. Everything about this vacation was perfect from the moment we landed. Enjoy!

This unit is in the Alamanda complex. All rooms seem to be decorated in a similar fashion. The property managers, Laurène and David from Cap SXM were great. The best we have seen in all our travels. We had some small ants and they came over in minutes and sprayed and we never saw ants again The complex is right off the beach and has a nice pool. 1 bedroom unit was great with no issues. The unit has a view of the ocean and a partial view of the sand over the gate leading to the beach on the right. Great location to restaurants and beach. Parking is always available except on Saturday nights if you get in after 1900 the restaurant crowd takes all the parking spots. It has a sleeper sofa that is comfortable for short periods at a time. If improvement were made they might add a bread knife and replace the toaster with a normal, modern version. The current toaster is a manual version where you have to judge when to turn off the toaster to prevent burning the toast and smelling up the apartment. You need to manually flip the toast over and the top of the toaster is very hot. My wife burnt her arm badly once when reaching across the toaster to pick up something. The unit is great and highly recommended!
