Luxury at the Water - Camp #4

Remodeled water view home located steps from the Calcasieu Ship Channel. There is a shared boat dock/fishing pier that is available with this home. The boat dock has 3 boat lifts and you will be able to use one of them. The dock/pier is located directly across the home in between House 1 and House 2 on the last photo. There is a public boat ramp located less than a mile away or if you have a guide they may pick you up directly at the private dock. We are about a 30 minute drive to the casinos in Lake Charles or about a 30 minute drive to Holly Beach. Kitchen is fully furnished with dishes, silverware, cookware, glasses and cups. Keurig coffee maker, microwave, and dishwasher. Hand soap, dishwashing soap, hand towels and wash cloths are also available for renters use. Limited amounts of toilet paper and paper towels provided. Paper plates and plasticware must be brought by renter if desired. (There may be some there and may be used if available.) Washer and dryer is available for use. Please bring your own laundry soap. Bathrooms are furnished with bath towels and wash cloths. Please bring your toiletries. Bedroom 1 furnished with: King Bed, Day Bed with Trundle, Linens, Pillows and TV Bedroom 2 furnished with: Queen Bed, Linens, Pillows and TV Bedroom 3 furnished with Bunk bed with trundle (twin bed, full bed and full bed) Linens, Pillows and TV There is free WIFI available in the home.

Outstanding spot for weekend getaway!

Christmas Getaway with Family

My dad, my brother and I (all from different parts of the state) met in Hackberry for Christmas weekend to hunt and fish and for family time. I could not have chosen a better place to stay. The house was immaculate, very spacious, it had everything we needed, great location and the owner was very helpful and kind. We will book here again. Thanks

Great Trip!!

We brought our children/grandchildren to enjoy fishing and crabbing. This camp was excellent! Very clean and comfortable for the 7 of us. Where the camp was set was perfect because we could sit on the porch and see the grandchildren riding their bikes and crabbing down at the pier. Very safe neighborhood and very quiet! The host, Bruce Honore, responded quickly to any concerns or requests both by text and in person. My family said this was the best trip they’ve ever been on and we agree! Ready to go asap and will stay in one of these rentals if available! You will NOT be disappointed!

Cajun Christmas

This home was everything and more than what we expected! It was clean and spacious, very comfortable. We came for fishing and crabbing, but a cold front ran the crabs off. But, The boys caught around 90 red fish with a hired guide Bruce recommended. We visited Holly Beach several times and caught three red fish measuring 28-38 inches! An added bonus was watching the large cargo ships traveling through the channel. We want to come back again, bringing the whole family .

Amazing weekend!

Could not have asked for better place to stay for an excellent weekend of fishing! House looked brand new and had everything and more that we needed. Myself and five buddies had more than enough room. Boat dock and fish cleaning station make this house the place to stay.

Weekend getaway with friends

From the day of booking, through our stay at the lake house, the owner was very helpful and easy to contact. The house is beautiful and very clean! Very spacious and filled with everything you would have at home. We were able to put two boats in the boat lift located directly in front of camp which was very convenient. The owner brought bait fish for our kids to fish when we arrived and offered help when we ran into boat trouble on the first day. We caught lots of crabs off of the pier in front of the camp which saved us a trip to holly beach. Just a wonderful weekend and we will definitely be back!!!

Wonderful Holiday Weekend

We all had such a great time on the property. Some of us even went fishing for the first time. House was beautiful and we were just a stone throw away from the water. Close enough to get some supplies at the local stores and do some sight-seeing in the area. Would definitely recommend!

Beautiful spacious well stocked, clean!!!

The house was beautiful very spacious , super clean , no funny smells , it was very well stocked nice clean bed sheets, towels, everything looked very top of the line and new , i even purchased the same type of pots because I loved them so much! The house had everything i have at home , we got a 2 for one with Casinos 30 min away , grilling, fishing with the family at the beach house which we love!! The host was exceptional sent me links to my questions and quick to answer by phone and text! Would definitely go back and recommend to family and friends!!
