Wow... hard to find 9 bedroom home on a intown acreage within city limits but very private and relaxing. The property is the best of both worlds …. even though it is on 3 acres (parking for 20 cars and many trailers) is close to everything including grocery stores, coffee places and drug stores and fast food plus many restaurants.

This house has both old world charm with the original part of the house and new modern features with the huge addition giving you so much living space including a gigantic living room measuring 28 x32 with a HUGE 85 inch TV...Wow… talk about a fantastic place for family holidays ( perfect for Wedding or Christmas gift opening) or family reunions, anniversary or birthday parties or wedding parties … or even company functions needing a large meeting room for office meetings.

This is not only Great for large families but contractors and work crews in town who want own bed in their own bedrooms. 15 beds in 9 bedrooms and we can add more beds if needed. Can sleep 24 people on beds plus another 6 people on couches or floor space for air mattresses.

This awesome home recently went through a $120,000 remodel job with 3 of the 4 bathrooms being remodeled but all have a shower making it a total of 4 showers in the house. You also must see pictures of the remodeled spacious kitchen with newer appliances and new quartz countertops and quartz also on the "L" Shaped Island. In the original part of the house you will find a FORMER living room with fireplace that was transformed into a 1st floor master bedroom and curved archways that are sealed off with Barn Doors for privacy. The formal dining room has a huge round dining table and the kitchen has extra seating with stools that pull up to the island bar like counter. This house has 2 bedrooms and one bath on the main level and 7 bedrooms and 3 more bathrooms on the 2nd floor plus laundry in the huge hallway bathroom... basement has a 2nd set of washer and dryer.

Outside you will have an above ground pool and a large sitting compacity for a newly constructed a fire pit area and a nice deck to grill on.

Overall our stay was positive. There was plenty of room for the 18 family members. The pool and ping pong table were big hits with the kids. The kitchen was updated and lots of room to move around in. The yard was large and the fire pit was great too. The house is old so don’t expect high end living. This suited us well as we had many children there. The owners son lives on the premise but this was not an issue. The owner was very accommodating and was available if needed.

Great location for our crew and proximity to the job site. Jody was a wonderful host and communication was with him was effortless. House had all amenities that we needed. There was enough room for everyone.

Wonderful space for our family reunion

17 family members met here. There was initial anxiety about arrangements but the owner worked through it for us, which was greatly appreciated. The space was wonderful, lots of room to be together and not to close. Nice deck and patio. The fire pit was a wonderful gathering place. The bedrooms were clean and comfortable. Bathrooms were very clean. There were some unfinished aspects ie cushions missing on some patio chairs…although plenty of other chairs. Even with minor unfinished issues it was a great space to get together and we all agreed we would happily rent it again.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!! HOMEOWNER IS A LIAR AND A THIEF!!!!!

Booked this home for a family reunion. BIG MISTAKE!! When my father arrived to check in, the host arrived shortly after to change out the bedding. There was trash and junk next to the house and it was dirty from construction/repairs that were going on inside the home. Since the homeowner was clearly not ready for us, he offered my father a different house for our reunion. The second home did not meet our needs either. The basement was not finished and mattresses were laying on the floor. There were exposed electrical switches without covers. This became a safety concern since there was going to be small children staying there. We declined to stay at either home since the original booking was dirty and not ready and the second home was basically a safety hazard. The homeowner told my father he was not going to charge us and even though this was a huge inconvenience, we went on our way. Now, the host is refusing to give us our money back even though THROUGH NO FAULT OF OUR OWN, THE HOUSE WE ORIGINALLY BOOKED WAS NOT READY AND THE HOST WAS TRYING TO SWITCH HOMES!! How is this LEGAL??? I tried fixing this with VRBO, but the host was released the funds, and now refuses to give us our money back. Not sure how this man can sleep at night knowing full well, we did not stay in either home and this was not within our control. We were hopeful he would do the right thing, but unfortunately, he is not responding to VRBO. I would think twice before renting from this person.

Great place for a large group

We had 20 family members for the weekend. First, we had a wonderful time. We found lots to do. The fire pit was GREAT and the bean bag toss game a big hit. We played 4 square on the driveway. The beds were comfortable and there were almost enough places to eat all together. The wifi was good and the living room was a super place where we could all hang out. The property is in a lovely location and lots of green grass all around. Some kitchen items need updating/replacing/adding to. Lots of linens and towels were provided. Would encourage a printed guide to the property and amenities.
