One of the most desired locations in LA. 15 min walk to Santa Monica beach & restaurants, 5 min walk to Rustic Canyon Rec Ctr w public tennis courts. Modern multi-level home, stunning views of SM Rustic Canyon, 2 outdoor decks, fire pit, BBQ, kitchen/dining w modern appliances & Sub Zero, courtyard patio. Large screen TV projection system for night viewing, fireplaces, cushy sofas, Grand piano and flat screen TV's, massage chair. King bed & jacuzzi tub. 4 BD, 3.5 baths. Quiet, peaceful and lush surroundings.

Owner occupies attached but completely separate guest house with separate outside entrance. Tenant will have complete privacy. Pet has occupied property previously, so may be minimal amount of residual pet hair. Carpets recently shampooed. Cleaning fee for each booking is $300. Damage Insurance policy fee for each booking is $79.00

We really enjoyed our stay at the Magic House. It was just as described on the website, and the host was great. He met us when we arrived, walked us through the house and was very easy to communicate with throughout our stay. The location is excellent. We would stay there again for sure!

Fabulous Gathering Spot!

The Magic House did not disappoint! It was a perfect spot for our family to gather - enjoyed walking to the Santa Monica Pier, admiring the gorgeous views from the balconies and watching late night movies on the big screen. Also a great location for a day trip to Disneyland. Chuck is an amazing host- very responsive and even provided recommendations to some fabulous restaurants. Overall, a magical experience!

Santa Monica Magic

This property is in a prime location. We were able to walk to fine meals, the beach, a community coffee hub with picnic tables, shopping, and the steps for working out. The home itself is full of magic, literally, a magician's decor delights reach room. Nice shower in master bath as well as lots of closet space and garage parking space for our SUV.

"Magical" stay!!

We loved our stay at Chuck and Belinda's magical and beautiful home. Their home is warm and inviting, which is not easy to do in a home that big. We loved all the lovely magical touches throughout the house and enjoyed our time as a family of 8. We had plenty of room to sleep comfortably, and we enjoyed amazing family meals in their gourmet kitchen and lovely dining room. All of the rooms had comfy beds and luxurious linens. It's a fantastic house with even more amazing owners. We feel lucky to have met Chuck and Belinda and can't wait to go back!

Hidden Gem

We rented this place for our team to stay while we worked on a project for the Santa Monica Pier. This was the perfect spot for everyone to recharge after a tiring shift. The house has plenty of seating spaces for everyone to lounge together, and multiple spots for anyone to take a quiet break while enjoying the nearby beach breeze surrounded by lush trees. Chuck was super attentive and made us feel welcome. We only wish we could have stayed longer.

Great Stay, Close to Action and Very Safe Neighborhood!

We were in Los Angeles to spend the Spring break with our kids. We had a wonderful time at this residence. The host Chuck was very gracious and stopped by at the time of check-in and helped us with the orientation by walking thru the home. This home is in a very safe neighborhood with a 15 min walk to Santa Monia beach and close to restaurants. There is one parking for one vehicle in the garage and plenty of roadside parking available at all times. The house was very clean and had everything you would ask for a staycation. We would definitely look forward to going back here in our future visits!

Magic house stay was MAGICAL

Special thanks to chuck and belinda for being wonderful hosts! we had our out of town guests stay at the magic house for my mother in law's memorial services in the palisades. chuck and belinda could not have been more gracious, helpful and friendly hosts. the house is so much fun....perfect for a large family/group...lots of different levels and areas for families to both be together and have some down time alone....house was very clean...had great amenities......and the views and location were fabulous..i would point out, the house is multi-leveled and there are a decent amount of stairs to ascend and descend, so if you have elderly guests/family staying there, please keep this in mind....but, again, we were SO grateful to chuck and Belinda who went above and beyond to make us and our family feel very welcome!!! Thanks, you two!!!!!

We were in town for a short family stay. The host, Chuck, was extremely gracious and attentive. The home was spacious and lovely —a great setting for family to spend time together with beautiful, interesting decor, huge gourmet kitchen, great living room space with projection screen for movie night, fireplaces, large balcony with fire pit and bbq and well appointed bedrooms. The location was great. Host was very kind and came to greet us and orient us to the home and its tech features. The kids enjoyed playing the piano and meeting the host’s dalmatian! We will def look to book this home again in the future. Highly recommended with no reservations!

Magic House is a magical experience

The Magic House is beautiful gem nestled into Santa Monica canyon. Our hosts were gracious and generous with their personally curated property steeped in tasteful art and memorabilia from a bygone era of live theater. From the home theatre to the player piano, the entertainment sources were top quality and the space is great for lounging or entertaining. The multi level property allows for guests to seek and find privacy easily while the living space is generous and comfortable. The kitchen is clearly furnished by owners who love to cook and every possible gadget and appliance was at the ready for all forms of food preparation. all in all the property was a pleasure to experience and we loved just hanging around in it all day, ofter foregoing a walk to the beach (15 mins) or a hike in the nearby mountains (15 mins). the Magic House delivered on every level and our hosts could not have been more hospitable. What a beautiful home to spend time in.

Nice place for a friends’ vacation

Very nice house for a friends’ get together vacation. They have a really fabulous master bed, two smaller bedroom with private bathroom and an office could be used as the forth bedroom. We are a group of 4 couples. The couple stayed in the office/bedroom needs to run two levels up to use the bathroom in living room and borrow other room’s bathroom for shower. That’s not very convenient. I think this place will be perfect for a big family or three couples. Other than that, everything is great! And owners are very nice and friendly. The patio has great view. We did have a good time there.

Magic House is a luxury multi-level home with panoramic views of Santa Monica's Rustic Canyon from every floor. Living room level has balcony deck with stunning canyon views, patio dining set, BBQ & fire pit. Perfect area to enjoy sunset and sit at night by the firepit. Living room has 2 large comfy couches, chaise lounge and grand piano. After dinner, enjoy nighttime viewing of the drop down, large screen (135"!) living room video projection system with high end surround sound system. Dining room areas can seat up to 10 & upholstered kitchen nook can seat up to 5. Master Bedroom with canyon views has king bed, fireplace, TV, walk in shower & closet, Jacuzzi tub, bidet, 2 sinks and private sun deck with lounge chairs. 2 additional bedrooms all have queen beds, canyon/courtyard views, ensuite bathrooms. Office/bedroom has queen bed, office desk, chair, printer, flat screen, TV and separate TV. There is a lovely central courtyard with additional outside patio table & chairs, all under a grand oak tree. Full laundry room with washer, dryer and large sink. And don't forget to check out the super relaxing Panasonic Massage Chair!

What makes this property unique

Magic House is located in the heart of Santa Monica's Rustic Canyon, a beautiful wooded area which is a 10 min drive to downtown Santa Monica, the Third Street Promenade & SM Place Mall and the SM Pier. One enclosed parking space is included with all rentals and there is abundant free, non-restricted street parking just a few feet away. Magic House is just a 5 min walk to Rustic Canyon Park with free public tennis courts, picnic area & playground. Just a 15 minute walk to Santa Monica beach and nearby restaurants. There are numerous nearby hiking/biking paths throughout SM Canyon.

Magic House is privately owned and operated. The owner & co-host reside in an attached but completely separate guest house. You will have complete privacy. As your hosts we strive to make your visit incredibly memorable and exceedingly comfortable. Magic House is throughly cleaned & sanitized between visitors & high touch surfaces are wiped down with disinfectant. All bedding is new throughout. In addition to the night time video projection system, there are an additional 3 flat screen TV's with Apple TV or Amazon Firesticks. All TV's have access to many major streaming services such as HBO Max, Netflix, Disney Plus and Amazon Prime. The night time video projection system has, in addition to streaming services, full cable TV & TIVO service.
