Lovely home in Waxhaw

Had a great stay at this home. It was a lovely and peaceful neighborhood. Plenty of cool shops and restaurants in the area too.

Charming historical house!

This house was very homey, clean and well equipped. Just a short walk to downtown Waxhaw. We loved sitting and relaxing on the front porch.

Charming house and area

The rental experience was nice and easy. The host was responsive in the rare instance I had a question and the house has a lot of charm and character. The location is great, too, as it’s walking distance to good food, shops, and entertainment

Adorable cottage in downtown Waxhaw

This adorable property was just steps away from restaurants, shopping, and entertainment. The cottage was immaculate, and well appointed. It was everything we needed for a perfect family week . Booking was effortless and the owner could not have been more accommodating. We will definitely be booking this property in the future.

Fireflies!

Our 2 kids got to see fireflies in the huge backyard. That was one of the highlights during our stay in Waxhaw. This house is perfect on all accounts. Clean, cool and a front porch to sit and say hi to all the locals. Thanks so much for allowing us to stay. We will be back.

Perfect!

Not having stayed in Waxhaw before, we weren't sure where to stay. But we hit the jackpot with this gem. The house does take you back in time, which is an extraordinary experience—loved the front porch and swings! The one thing we didn't know was how close it was to town. Walking distance to everything. We never drove once we got there. Hopefully, you, too, can enjoy this lovely home.

High School Graduation

My parents (70+) and I (47) traveled from out of state for my brothers son high school graduation. They live Waxhaw and with no hotels nearby it's often difficult to see them as much as we want when we are in town. This house was the PERFECT location. Close to my brother and his family and about a block away from the cute restaurants, stores and bars in Waxhaw. This property is all about the location, and the front porch. We even got to sit on the porch and watch a storm one night. We had a great experience with the owner. The photos reflect exactly what to expect in the house. We would stay again.

Downtown Waxhaw cottage

Mimi's retreat was perfect. The front porch is comfortable for lots of people and a great, friendly spot for people and dog watching. The cottage is roomy, lovely and the location is great. We never used our rental car once we moved in. Our kids and grandkids live in Waxhaw and spent the weekend visiting us at Mimi's and walking into town. Can't wait to return!

A lovely quaint house

This is a lovely old house perfectly located on a quiet street within walking distance of town. It is beautifully and comfortably decorated with excellent tv and internet service. The host is easily contacted and responds promptly. The only concern (large for me, unimportant to most) is that there is no bathtub.

Business Trip

Precious home with lots of charm. Close to the charming downtown area, restaurants etc. This home is equipped with all the co forts if home. Highly recommend it. I had the pleasure of watching a pair of rose finches make their nest during my stay. Delightful!

Excellent even without the actual stay!

We had family coming in town for an engagement party, which unfortunately we had to cancel the night before- due to the impending snow storm. We never actually even had the chance to use the VRBO, but I want to share a review because of how incredible Amanda was to work with. She was quick to respond to emails, incredibly friendly and helpful, and was so kind to not even charge us a thing due to the unexpected cancellation. I told her we will 100% be using her place the next time we are in need and will recommend to anyone I know that needs a place to stay. It's wonderful when you are able to find someone so great to work with, and I want to give her a fantastic review for anyone else looking in the future!

Family Visit

We were in NC to visit our family during Christmas. We loved walking into the house and seeing a Christmas Tree with lights and decorations as well as other holiday decor! We appreciated the extra effort to make it feel like the holidays for us. Everything we could needed was available for us. Communication with owner was excellent and very responsive.
