Breezy Point - CANADARAGO LAKE - NEW CONSTRUCTION - Breezy Point is a beautiful, tranquil setting on a point on the eastern shore of Canadarago Lake. It is a 1 bedroom offering with a private entrance, located in a separate wing of the host's main home. You can enjoy lounging on the grand front covered verandah - which has a commanding view of the lake. Watch for Bald Eagles who often fly over the water. You'll remember the sunsets forever.
The waterfront here is very user-friendly with good swimming and fishing. Your hosts provide 3 single kayaks for paddling fun.
Breezy Point is all located on the 1st floor. In addition to a private side entrance, french doors lead out to the covered verandah. Enjoy dining outside overlooking the lake or gathering around a campfire under the stars. High ceilings, modern kitchen and furnishings all give this an inviting ambiance. The carefully chosen décor creates an inviting ambiance.

NOTE: your hosts live in the opposite end of the home. They will give you your privacy, but are nearby if you need assistance.

Heaven away from home

The mini apartment was decorated warm and comfortable. It was spacious for two people. The lake views were beautiful. There was plenty to do in the towns, plenty of restaurants. Our hosts were very kind and informative.

Best vacation ever!!

We enjoyed staying at Breezy Point so much. The condo was comfortable and everything you needed was there. My favorite place was the beautiful back porch facing the Lake. Every time I went out to sit and watch the boats go by I would get so relaxed I’d fall asleep. This is a 5 STAR place to spend your vacation!!!

Lovely lake house

Beautifully landscaped, priced to perfection, pictures do not do it justice. Great time relaxing while spending down time in between baseball games.

Peaceful and beautiful

Gorgeous setting, beautiful home. Other than baseball related attractions, not much else to do, but that what we were looking for. Gracious and attentive hosts.

Glad you enjoyed it. Come back again, there is plenty of non-baseball you can check out. Here are just a couple of ideas... The Farmer's Museum, The Fennimore Art Museum, 3 golf courses within 20 minutes, Glimmerglass Opera, Cooperstown Beverage Trail, The Rail Explores, local hikes, and State Parks, we could go on. There are a ton of resources available at the Cooperstown Chamber of Commerce for things to do.

We loved our stay!!

Our stay at Breezy Point was fantastic. It was a perfect retreat after a long day of baseball games at Dreams Park. It was clean, cozy with all the amenities needed. Waking up to the lake on a sunny morning was a pleasure and my younger kids loved the property and their “sleepover” every night in the pull-out bed. The owners Jim and Becky are great hosts. Thank you!

Modern Apartment on a Beautiful Lake

This recently fully upgraded apartment was well done and made a delightful accommodation. Beautiful views of the lake. The dock extends into the lake and provides a nice place to fish with young people - we had our 6-year-old granddaughter for a few days. She learned to fish with great success. The place includes plenty of swim gear and kayaks to enjoy the water.

Cooperstown

Son/Grandson played at Cooperstown for a week and we split the stay between my daughter and her fiancé and myself and my husband. My grandson was able to spend 2 days fishing. Everyone loved their time there and the host, Jim, was so friendly and helpful. Would love to come back just to relax and fish.

Clean and relaxing

Exceptionally clean rental property on the lake. Stayed while my son was playing baseball at Cooperstown. The property owner was very nice and even let my son use a fishing pole and kayak. Nice view. Living in a much warmer location it was nice to have the screen doors open and enjoy the fresh air. Very nice place to stay for our Cooperstown trip.

Nice stay

The property was as advertise.d, clean and well equiped. We really didnt take advantagebof everything because we were watching a lot of baseball. The owners were great. Our only complaint was that the mattress needs to be replaced

Beautiful Property

We had a very nice stay at Breezy Point! We were in town for my son's baseball tournament at Cooperstown Dreams Park. We didn't get to enjoy the property as much as we wanted because we were at the fields most of the time. It's about a 23 minute ride to CDP on winding hilly roads, but factor in traffic getting into the park, so we always gave ourselves a good 45 minutes to an hour of time to get inside the park, which sufficed most of the days. The property was very clean, with plenty of linens, towels, and toiletries. Kitchen was stocked well and we cooked a few meals. Overall, the house provided what we needed and we were very happy. Becky and Jim are very nice people and will take care of you!

Beautiful lake front property!

We had a wonderful stay with Jim and Becky. They were incredibly accommodating and helpful. We were in town for the Cooperstown Tournament and wish we had more down time to be able to spend at their home. They provided fishing rods for my son and his buddy, had a trampoline for getting some energy out and lots of rocks down by the lake for skipping. Sleeping arrangements were very comfortable. Highly recommend staying with them!

Peaceful getaway

My wife and I stayed at this apartment which was like a duplex with the owner living on the other side. Our son was playing in the Cooperstown baseball tournament which was a great experience, but coming back to the apartment and sitting out on the porch watching the sunset over the lake was just amazing and exactly what we needed after those crazy, hectic days at the ballpark. The place was immaculate and the owners provided everything and anything you could think of to make the stay comfortable. Would definitely stay again if we ever return to the area.

Perfect

Breezy point was the perfect spot for my family to stay while our son was playing baseball in Cooperstown. It was great to go back and relax after our busy days at Dreamspark. The drive was a little far but well worth it! Our only regret is that we couldn't spend more there to enjoy the firepit and kayaks. My older son loved fishing off the dock. The robes were an amazing added bonus that we really appreciated. If we ever make it back, we would definitely stay here again.

AMAZING and relaxing experience

The owner met us right as we pulled up and showed us all around the property. After that he gave us full privacy right until we were checking out. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The home was exactly as advertised and what we were looking for. Everything was relaxing, clean, and cozy right down to the candle they had. Plenty of blankets, a comfy bed and couch, and even heated bathroom. The view is breathtaking. My favorite part was sitting out on the deck swing in the mornings watching the sunrise over the lake. Overall a 10/10 experience for us.

Perfection!!!!!

If you are fortunate to find Breezy Point available, book it!!!! I promise you will be glad you did. This place is an absolute piece of heaven. My mom and I stayed here when my son played in Cooperstown. Jim and Becky were wonderful hosts. Place was immaculate, plenty of towels and blankets. Grocery store is close by. We had our coffee sitting on the porch swing every morning. The drive to the fields was 20-25 min but so easy and totally worth it!!!!!! If we ever find ourselves in C-town again, I will for sure be staying there. Our team won the Championship so there may be a little 🍀 left behind. ⚾️❤️

The hosts were extremely welcoming and kind but also give you space to enjoy the area! The spot is truly picturesque! Very accommodating, we easily fit our family of four and our 3year old had a blast with the lake access and toys available! He kept asking if we could stay! The only thing that was a downside was check out was truly a little too early but we didn’t ask the host if there was a possibility to have a later check out either so they may have if we asked. Other than that if I am nitpicking I would say the front door slams due the hinge being broke and there weren’t any good pans for making breakfast but those are so minor issues. I would not only love to come back but would recommend this stay to anyone it truly feels private with all the perks of the hosts living there! Thanks for the stay!

Amazing Place!!!

We were in Cooperstown for my son’s baseball tournament at Cooperstown Dreams Park. Myself, my wife and our 10 year old daughter stayed here for the week and it was perfect. About 25 minutes away from the fields and 20 minutes away from Downtown Cooperstown. Some of the other folks on our team paid more to stay closer to the park but after hearing all of their horror stories about staying in places that were old and run down we were glad we chose this location. The 25 minute drive was not bad at all and very enjoyable given the beautiful scenery. What we enjoyed most about the stay was how clean and updated the place was. Jim who lives in the attached house and owns the VRBO is very meticulous and keeps the place in immaculate condition. Also since he lives on site any and all of your needs that come up during your stay will immediately be taken care of. The views overlooking the lake were gorgeous. There were also kayaks available for our family to take out on the lake if we wanted. Unfortunately so much of our time was taken up with baseball that we didn’t get the chance to take advantage of them. We don’t ever see ourselves returning to Cooperstown but if we do this would definitely be the place that we stay. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
