Family Weekend

The stay at this property was great! Very comfortable and plenty of room for the max number of occupants (we had 12). The backyard was perfect for hanging out in the river by day and sitting and chatting by the fire at night. Great location as well! Highly recommend.

It is wrong to call that the kitchen was fully equipped. It had every possible thing u can think of. Had the right kind of rooms. The downstairs beds were not clean with long white hairs on blankets and bedsheet. The idea of the trip was to spend nights out by the fire pit but the county had a BurnBan. We wish this was communicated clearly.

Lalith, Thank you for the 5-star review. We are glad to hear that you enjoyed the property and had a pleasant stay. We sincerely apologize for the hairs found in the bedding. Had we been made aware during your visit, we would have gladly sent our cleaning team back immediately to address the issue. Regarding the fire pit, our area is currently under an intense drought, which restricts its use. We apologize for any inconvenience this caused, and we would have been happy to explain if asked. We truly appreciate your feedback and hope to have the opportunity to host you again in the near future. Thanks, NBE

Great location & back yard area

We loved the back yard area, but the house was older and needed some updating. Location was perfect, and very close to stores etc. The layout of the house was cool (and VERY roomy), and perfect for large families/groups. I feel that it was a bit overpriced compared to other homes in the area, but would certainly stay again if it was updated.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have rented with New Braunfels escapes for several years now and we have stayed at this house the last two years. The location is amazing. The house is very nice. It has a very big kitchen area. The Deck is nice to sit outside and enjoy the sights and sounds. We have never been dissapointed with any of the places we have rented through NBE.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We spent a little over a week at this property with my Family, my parents and my brothers fam and it was just what we all needed! The house sits on the river ready for you to float down.... Or just get in and enjoy it right there! The house was clean and had everything we needed. My parents had no problem at all walking from the house to the river- they spent most of their time down there just watching people float by.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have traveled to this area as a group for over 20 years. We have stayed at many great properties and this one was no different. Thanks to New Braunfels Escapes and the owners of the property for allowing us to stay here. The house came equipped with everything we needed and the 5 bathrooms for such a big group was amazing. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a blast at the river house! Had a large group of family and friends there it was great, even though it rained a little it did not stop us! We floated ,sat in the river, cooked out, sat around the fire pit, played corn hole and played a lot of music (we have a gifted family blessed with live entertainment). Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We really enjoyed our stay overall. The only issues we had were that the toilet in the downstairs king room would not flush each time. But thankfully there was a trash can that we could fill up with water to flush it. Not super convenient but we made it work.

Amazing stay loved our time there.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: So much fun, we wore ourselves out. We grilled every night and played games way to late at the big table. Floated up and down the river. Wish we had set up for two extra nights. We are all planning our trip next year. May need a larger place. Icing on the cake was the very large Owl on our balcony on our last day early in the morning. He left as we got up.

Great time

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: River access was perfect for my family and small grandchildren. Plenty of room in the house for everyone to have a room to sleep in. Kitchen is spacious with plenty of counter space. The kitchen does need more serving bowls and variety of pots and pans and bakeware. The downside to house was the cockroaches and the back door that would not latch. Would stay again if the house is exterminated!

VrboOwnerからの返信 (投稿日 : 2023 年 7 月 26 日)

HI Kim, thanks for your feedback! We do have professional pest control treat the home on a quarterly basic. If you had let us know you were experiencing an issue we could have had pest control come out immediately. We have replaced the back door handle and it works great! We hope you will give us another chance in the future! Thanks NBE
