Cozy unit in a quiet neighborhood. Ideal location for our visit to to see family in the Kenmore area. Had a minor issue but host was very communicative and followed-up.
Host graciously allowed us to check in an hour early and responded immediately when we had a question about the electric fireplace. Communication/instructions prior to check in were clear and thorough.
Location and apartment itself was wonderful. found some great places to eat within 3 min drive. Apartment had everything we needed for our stay (and more), definitely felt like home away from home. would stay again in a heartbeat.
My husband, my son, and I stayed in Bothell for my daughter’s wedding. We all loved this place. It was well stocked with everything we needed and it is in a great location! Joni was very accommodating, and was a gracious host. The three of us really appreciated her attention to detail and her lovely garden. I would highly recommend staying at this wonderful place:)
A wonderful stay in a great location, central to many areas for the week. Clean with all needed for a comfortable stay. Quiet neighborhood with parking and easy access to the unit. Beautiful gardens all around the house and Joni was a gracious host.
The charm of this place is fantastic! Great location for access to the north end of the Seattle area; such as, Leavenworth and Chateau Ste. Michelle to name a few. Also, downtown Bothell is just a few blocks away with a much new look and vibe from years ago. The Hillcrest Bakery is a must visit!
The apartment was tastefully decorated and felt very welcoming. The washer/dryer was a nice amenity. The neighborhood was quiet but also convenient to restaurants and other services. The owner is responsive and very helpful. We look forward to staying here next year.

About the host
Hosted by Joni
I am a registered nurse and live in Bothell, which is 15 miles north of Seattle Washington USA. I love to travel and I’ve been to Greece, Turkey, Italy, France, Mexico Canada, Belize, Guatemala, Egypt, Kenya plus an 17 country European trip in 2023, plus many of our beloved States. I love to learn and experience the history and culture of the places I visit. I have 3 grown kids and I’m still waiting to be a grandparent.
Why they chose this property
Bothell became my home in 1983. Bothell has really grown since then. Nice parks, electric bike rentals, 35 mile paved Burke Gilman Trail where you can rent kayaks and canoes, swimming pool, restaurants, theater, transportation and so much more all in walking distance.
What makes this property unique
Review a previous renter: Joni’s rental apartment is a work of art. It is comfortable, clean, new, welcoming and she has provided everything that anyone could want to make their stay comfortable and enjoyable. She has gone way beyond the normal “rental” in providing enough supplies for a regiment under siege – much more of everything than you normally get or can expect (coffee, filters, tea, hot chocolate, paper towels, toilet paper, soap, shampoo, conditioner and 101 other things all in plentiful supply). The pace is very quiet in a friendly suburban neighborhood but a short walk to shops. And the area is central to all the most beautiful sites in the pacific northwest, including a local seaplane “airport“ with planes to the San Juan‘s, Canada and so on. This is the best “rental“ I have ever stayed at and the value is very high.
