Near the stunning roads of the Vercors, this independent, 2-star rated accommodation of approximately 50 m² in a renovated farmhouse offers relaxation and tranquility while you listen to the Bourne River and the house's own spring. You can also enjoy the terrace or a wood-burning stove. This gîte is ideally located 5 minutes from the Col de Romeyère pass, 12 minutes from Choranche or Villard-de-Lans for sightseeing, skiing, hiking, running, climbing, cycling... and above all, breathing in the fresh air. Hiking and walking trails start right from the house. The "L'Oxalys" gîte is located in a renovated old farmhouse comprising a private family living area and the therapy practice of Marie, your host. This gîte is at the intersection between the private and professional lives of the residents, but also between the southern and northern Vercors, very close to Villard de Lans, Choranche, Le Royans, La Chapelle en Vercors. What has always been a place of living and working remains so and defines the gîte: a place for holidays or work, a place of rejuvenation. It is suitable for couples or two-person travelers, such as business travelers or hikers on a multi-day trek, or a family with one or two children. The "L'Oxalys" cottage offers spacious comfort in approximately 50 m² with a separate bedroom on the first floor, including a queen-size bed (160 cm), a desk, a dressing room, and a bathroom with two skylights. It can accommodate two additional people who are happy to sleep on the double sofa bed (140 cm) in the living room. You will find everything you need to make your stay independent and convenient, including the use of a washing machine and dishwasher. All the amenities you need for a comfortable stay are provided: refrigerator, oven, induction hob, board games, books, 4G... a laundry area, a dining area, and a living room with plenty of reading material. And if you need more, we can lend you some... You can enjoy the warmth of a wood fire or the private terrace in front of the cottage and discover all the beauty of the surrounding mountains: the beautiful, energy-filled Coulmes forest, the Romeyère pass, cross-country and downhill ski resorts, caves for speleologists, rocks for climbing, historical and cultural sites, the great Vercors Crossing... it's simple: you go outside, you discover... a path, a forest, a river or a stream... stunning mountains, museums... and quality restaurants. There's skiing, but there's so much more. We accept guests for two-night weekend stays. During the week, the minimum rental is three nights. Sheets, towels, and dish towels are included in the nightly rate. Cleaning fees are extra. Please note! As there is no restaurant within walking distance, your host will provide a set menu prepared by a caterer (starter, main course, and dessert). Parking is free and located on the property. Access to the cottage is via the stone steps in front of the private terrace. All that's left to do is enjoy the peace and quiet and the shining stars...
