We had an exceptional stay at Chalet Perce Neige. We stayed in the summer while we were in the area for the Tour de France, so our experience is probably a bit different than those who visit to ski. First, the pictures are accurate, but do NOT do this place justice. There aren't words to describe how beautiful and tranquil you will find it. There is so much space, and the view is incredible from every single window. All amenities were exactly as described, and the hot tub is sparkling clean. I particularly appreciate that the toilet rooms are separate from the bath and shower rooms, which makes things very convenient for a group. There isn't AC (it isn't needed in this area), so we kept the windows open for air circulation, and the temperature was beautiful. There is a lovely indoor heating stove for the colder weather. Wifi is fast and reliable.The small village has everything! Restaurants, a real French bakery, an outdoor sports shop, and a grocery store....everything you need. If you're up for it, it's close enough to walk, but we didn't have any trouble with our car or finding parking. The host and property manager are both excellent to work with. We recommend this place with the highest regard!
