Bring the boat, kayaks, bikes and water toys. This high and dry Pine Island home on a canal has withstood all the storms with no water damage. The house is on stilts so it remains safe from storm surge. A short trip down the canal with your boat takes you to Jug Creek, into Charlotte Harbor and out to the Gulf of Mexico in 15 minutes, where the best fishing in the world happens. Go up the stairs to the living space where you will feel like you are in a treehouse. There are 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom, a fully stocked kitchen with all new Fridgidaire appliances, living room, dining room, and screened in deck overlooking the canal and fruit trees. Very nice house in a good location. We found it spotlessly clean and equiped with all the amenities we could want. I highly recommend it.

I rented this home mainly for its dock space and its proximity to good fishing. The house itself was clean, well kept and exactly as advertised. Mike was a great host, helping me figure out logistics as I was bringing my boat from PA. I really appreciated the laundry room storage for my rods and that there was even a deep freezer that came in handy. I really liked that the host left me an extra couple things like trash bags and paper towels as I didn’t get to the market right away. Everything was great!
This was our second time staying here. As expected the house was extremely clean. It worked out perfect for our vacation needs. We hope to stay again....
Property was as advertised, very clean space with all the ammenities that we needed. Perfect spot for a weekend getaway. Tiki toss and tic tac toe were big hits amongst the group. Master bed was very comfortable. We are very greatful for your hospitality

Thank you for your kind review. Hope to see you again.
This was our second stay at Sealaxation & it was just as wonderful as the first. We love everything about it; communication, easy check in, cleanliness, stocked kitchen, super comfortable beds and everything you need for your boat dock. The launch is right down the road. We will continue to make this our family's vacation destination as long as we can!

Thanks again for returning to Sealaxation House. Glad you enjoyed your time on Pine Island.
A lovely and clean property. Very well maintained. Mike was very helpful with any questions. Parking was very spacious with a boat trailer. We can't wait to visit in the future.
My family and I enjoyed our stay so much! The house was immaculate and had everything we needed. Our children loved the desk with toys and craft area. We loved the property and how close we were to the boat ramp and the bait store. Check in and out process was so simple. They even left us a welcome gift bag. All around perfect location and stay!

We were so grateful to learn this property was spared from hurricane Ian. My husband and son so enjoy fishing. We have a boat, so with this home being on the canal it works so well for us. It is easy access to great fishing areas. We hope to return.
These hosts think of everything needed to make your stay outstanding. This place will provide wonderful sunsets every day from the lanai. Watching the boat traffic is fun. Neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. Enjoy the lanai or the ground floor patio. We stayed a month and enjoyed every day. Definitely a great place to spend some time.

Property and Pictures were accurate, house was clean, up to date, and had all needs covered. For me, master king bed was a little soft but others may find it okay. Please note all your luggage and groceries must be carried up the stairs be sure your able to handle this. All in all great stay, way too short, hope to come again.
The place is adorable. Bright, cheery and spotless. Very well provisioned with kitchen items and lots of other well thought of things. Even a wonderful welcome package!
You can fish off of the dock and tie a boat up there. The screened in lanai overlooks the water and is so pleasant.
The neighborhood is great and very quiet. Close to everything. We will definitely rent again. Mike was great to deal with.
Beautiful home. We rented a boat from Waterbird Rentals nearby. Excellent dockage- there’s no need to use the boat lift. Super quiet neighborhood, beautiful setting, awesome sunrises and sunsets. Fully stocked with things like spices and foil etc. Plenty of cookware. We’ll be back!

We spent six weeks at Sealaxation House and it was one of the most relaxing and enjoyable times we've ever spent in Florida. It was our first time visiting southwest Florida and we loved the location, it's beautiful scenery and it was perfect for boating, fishing and experiencing the wildlife. It was fun meeting and getting to know Bobby next door, he's a top-notch guide, very helpful and an overall great guy! And last, but not least, Thanks Very Much to our Hosts for everything, who were excellent at communicating, going to great lengths to clearly provide and make readily available everything we needed to make our stay extremely comfortable making wonderful memories!

Overall the house was nice and included most of everything you will need. A few negatives though. Communication with host was good before we showed up but only heard once on our second night around 8:30pm complaining about porch light being on which states to turn off after 9pm. Supposedly it shines in neighbors bedroom window. Not sure why the host would make this the guests problem. Fix this issue directly with your neighbor and offer to buy blackout curtains or something. Made us feel like we had a 9pm curfew and not sure this is ideal for someone who would want to sit out back and enjoy themselves after 9pm since noise would probably be a problem too. My wife and I are very quiet people and felt uncomfortable. Host never asked if we needed anything just the one complaint. Also the bridge to island is down to one lane and we spent an average of 45 minutes to 1hr getting off the island every day. This should have been communicated to us prior to booking. We wouldn’t have booked and instead wasted valuable vacation time sitting in our car every day. Lastly we were surprised that there wasn’t anything provided related to outdoor activities, not even a fishing pole and your on a canal. I had to buy one and left it there for others to use. Hopefully they enjoy it.

Thank you for your review. When coming to an island most people bring all supplies and equipment to stay there. Unfortunately we cannot control the flow of traffic.
Sorry this was frustrating but rebuilding our roads and bridge destroyed by hurricanes is a necessity. Even without construction, getting on and off any island is often a challenge.
They call it the Matlacha Crawl due to all the people trying to get into and out of the busunesses in the small area.
We try not to bother people while they are on vacation so we gave you our contact info in case you needed anything. We do not supply fishing equipment as most people coming to a fishing community have their own and it would need to be repaired or replaced frequently.
As a courtesy to our neighbor we asked to have ONLY the top porch light be turned off by nine. There was no curfew.
Thank you for staying at Sealaxation House.
