Beautiful & quiet home, all 2 urself n Wheat Ridge

This home is located in a quiet neighborhood, of which i grew up. This one bedroom ranch style home also has a den with two couches and a comfortable futon that folds out into a bed for additional guest accommodations. Property is only 10 minutes from Coors Field, Ball Arena, and Empower Field at Mile High, and within 20 minutes of Red Rocks Amphitheater.

Load and start the dishwasher
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Any furniture or items you had moved please move them back as you found them.
Make sure trash cans are pulled back up towards the house in the driveway- unless you’re departing on a trash pick up day
Clean up after your pets waste, in the backyard with the provided shovel.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
From November 1 to May 1 the A/C at this property is winterized and can NOT be used!
Fridays are trash day- please push the roll trash can to the street past the sidewalk Thursday night or early Friday morning for collection.
When the weather gets warmer lawn service comes once a week, roughly April-Oct, in the cold months ice melt and a snow shovel are available for guests

Exactly as described. Like staying at your Grandma's house, if Grandma was the president of the Mariah Carey fan club! We needed a place last minute on Thanksgiving weekend and this place was perfect. Great neighborhood/ location, clean, quiet, fully equipped and dog friendly. If you needed it, it was there, and we really appreciated the nice towels, plenty of hangers, and well stocked kitchen. The Elton John pinball machine was pretty cool too!

Host communicated whenever I had questions. He was polite and understanding. I stayed for nine days visiting a relative at the hospital. Safe and quiet neighborhood with a fenced in backyard. I would book again in the future if I needed a place in Denver. Thanks David!

A down home oasis; cozy, well loved (coming from a childhood heritage) and stocked with any convenience for the 'older' down to the younger.The sun room alone is worth living in- and I did. Big back yard with mature trees and kind neighbors on either side just living their lives while I had complete privacy. Many thoughtful touches for guests and more than every need fulfilled. Thank You, 'Grandma'.

Memory lane

Had a great stay. House is very unique because of decorations nothing bad, list as grandma's house and it feels that way….except for Maria Carrie (sp) gold record collection…and a few family photos. It worked out for stay to visit our daughter and family. Thanks David.

Great home away from home

Loved the 50’s style - gave the home a special character. Interesting decor - penguins, monkey lamps, and all of the Mariah Carey plaques. TV connection a little spotty at times, but not a big deal (since there sre 4 to chose from). Only request would be a dresser in the bedroom to put clothes, especially if staying more than a few days. Loved the Pinball machine - my grandson and I enjoyed our competition each day after school.

Welcome New Grandson

This place was perfect for our family to have dinners together each evening, I worked remote during the day. It is a foodie place if your cooking for a crowd or just a couple. All the dishes and gadgets to do that. The neighborhood was safe and quiet. The home was clean and just a lovely place to stay. Very roomy. Thank you for a perfect place, when we visit again we will see if this place is a available.

Family Visit

We enjoyed our stay at this Wheat Ridge property. We were in Denver visiting our daughter and family and to spend time with our grandkids. The home was in a great neighborhood and though an older home, it was clean and well taken care of. The sunporch was a big plus and our grandkids loved the pinball machine. We had our 2 small chihuahua's with us and the backyard was nice though the still enjoyed walking with us in the neighborhood. It was a great visit and we would rent this property again! We did communicate with David and he was very quick to respond with questions we had.

Our Stay in Denver

This is a wonderful older home, and we will try to book again when we visit our daughter next. The only issues with the property were the televisions. We are not tech savvy and could not set up the living room set. The bedroom TV does not work at all and we were only able to watch movies in the family room. wer

Hey there Thank you for your stay. The tvs are pretty simple- had you had reached out to me with a message through the app I would have been able to help you during your stay. The tv in the bedroom was unplugged- sometimes to iRobot vacuum can get caught in the cord and unplug it. The smart tvs at this property all operate through the internet and you may stream movies and shows. However I’d bet- the tvs needed to reconnected due to the snow storm and the power outage that the area experienced during your stay. All TVs are functional. I’m sorry you had difficulty but I’m always here to help guests with issues during their stay through this app. I look forward to hosting you again in the future. Thank you!

The home was exceptionally clean and provided all of the services you could need. Everything worked and had lots of instructions on how to use the amenities. We traveled with two dogs and backyard was perfect. They had shade and green grass and lots of squirrels to entertain them.
