Quick Getaway

My fiance and I enjoyed staying at Mystic Pines. The place is gorgeous inside and out. It's very private and tucked into the trees perfectly. We enjoyed the patio and playing pool upstairs. Highly recommend for a couple or small family.

Perfect getaway

We truly enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was secluded down the hill when most were on the Main Street so felt like we had a lot of privacy and only minutes down the road from great food. The beds were so comfy and communication with the owner was a breeze with fast response. Will absolutely book this cabin again in the future.

Great Space

My husband and I had a wonderful time staying here. This place is perfect for two, or for a family with kids. We really enjoyed having a full kitchen, as well as the outdoor patio space with the hot tub, outdoor TV, and fireplace. We also really enjoyed the location. We were never far from any of the activities we wanted to do, or restaurants we wanted to eat at. We will definitely be staying here again the next time we want to travel.

Amazing home!

We have been coming to Broken for over 20 years and this was by far our favorite place we’ve stayed. The home is just beautiful and has everything you need. It was perfect for our family of 4, our daughters loved the upstairs bunkroom. We can’t wait to go back!

Spring Break in Broken Bow

Our family of 5 had such a lovely stay at this cabin!! It looks exactly like the pictures and had everything you could possibly need. It’s in a great location and the communication about check in and check out were clear and not at all complicated. Overall, a wonderful spring break and we wouldn’t hesitate to book this cabin again. Highly recommend!

Weekend Getaway

This cabin is beautiful and located in a peaceful neighborhood close to everything we wanted to experience in Hochatown. We loved that the cabin had something for everyone in our family. We enjoyed playing chess and pool as well as the puzzles and board games. We really appreciated that we were able to take our pet with us and there was even a built in kennel for him when needed. Thank you for a much needed peaceful and enjoyable weekend.

Someone was supposed to give us a call regarding concerns of cleanliness of property but they never did, so would rather not post the pics on here , over all it did not meet our standards on cleanliness and other issues we did have , the property is beautiful though and the view of the trees ect.

Hi Maya, So sorry you feel you had to leave a 3 star review after working with you on trying to address the issues you felt you had. I have messages via VRBO and text that say not to send the cleaning crew over during your stay and that after you used the hot tub and then put the chlorine in that it was fine. I texted and called and left a voice message after your stay and restated the problems you said you had. The text message response I still have on my phone says,"no problem, I didn't want to get cleaners in trouble, and didn't want to give a bad review" So I feel tried hard to work with you both during and after your stay, and you had said multiple time, no problem.

The perfect getaway

This cabin has everything and more for a perfect weekend getaway. We came at the end of spring and enjoyed walking through the neighborhood with our dogs in the mornings and evenings and taking them hiking nearby, which is about a 15 minute drive. There is so much privacy, but nice to actually be in a neighborhood, too. Every amenity and perk you could need is here! The hot tub, fire pit, fireplaces and pool tables are so much fun. The porch, grill, and kitchen are very nice and spacious. Kim is quick to respond and take care of anything you need. Thanks for a wonderful stay, Kim!

Fantastic Spring Break Getaway

We booked a few nights at this cabin during our kids Spring Break and had a great time! The cabin was better in person than the photos which is rare. Everything was clean and the furnishings felt high end. The location was perfect as it was nestled in the neighborhood so you had neighbors but felt like you were immersed in the woods. The outdoor space was wonderful with the hot tub, grill, fireplace on the patio, and the solo stove that we used for roasting marshmallows. The kids loved the upstairs pool table and that the beds were in the loft area so it felt like a sleepover. We thoroughly enjoyed this cabin and would definitely love to return. The owner was very responsive and instructions for check in and out were clear and easy.

Our Experience

Overall, everything went okay despite some inconveniences. For example, the upstairs beds were small and obstructed by the low angled ceiling and lamps directly above our heads. Take note if kids are on the taller side. This was not the most comfortable sleeping arrangement. The Kitchen accommodations were lacking with no pantry to store food items. We had to store a lot on the limited countertop space and in drawers along with kitchen items. There were a few other things but not worth mentioning here. We did appreciate the Christmas decor and overall ease of booking.
