Best VRBO ever!

If I could give this property a “10” I would. Claudia met us on the main road to guide us to the house which is set back a ways from the road. She showed us around and gave us the lay of the land. There is an extensive house guide with all kinds of tourist information as well as tips about the house. Claudia thoughtfully stocked the kitchen with some staples to help kick off our stay. She provided soap for the dishwasher and detergent for the washer. There were paper towels and napkins There were lots of towels (dish towels as well as bath towels), which was a problem at other places we have stayed. The beds were firm, there was plenty of hot water, and there is ample storage space for guests’ belongings. I needed to order something from Amazon and Claudia was most accommodating in facilitating delivery. I can’t say enough good things about this home. It’s big, bright, and comfortable. It’s convenient to Nuremberg. I did suggest that they get a freezer, but other than that, a perfect stay.

Sehr gepflegte Unterkunft für mehrere Personen

Sehr schöne und gepflegte Unterkunft auch für eine größere Familie. Die Zimmeraufteilung ist sehr günstig, so dass man sich auch mit mehreren Personen nicht in die Quere kommt. Zu den Schlafzimmern im oberen Geschoss gibt es auch einen gesonderten WC, sowie ein Bad mit Dusche. Ebenso wie im Erdgeschoss. Die Küche ist mit mehr als dem nötigsten ausgestattet. Die Vermieterinnen sind sehr nett. Die Kommunikation mit Ihnen war sehr herzlich und angenehm. Wir können diese Unterkunft nur weiter empfehlen. Wir haben die gemeinsame Zeit als Familie sehr genossen.

A Lovely House in Bavaria

We used the house as a base to explore this part of Bavaria and found we could easily get to Bamberg, Regensburg and Rothenburg, as well as Nuremburg of course! It was perfect for this; the house is well equipped and in a nice area with plenty of access to shops and restaurants. Claudia and Astrid were very helpful and it was nice to get to know them a little. Definitely recommended!

Zum Wohlfühlen

Sehr gut ausgestattetes, älteres Haus. Vor allem die Terrasse mit dem tollen Blumengarten hatten es uns angetan. Die Vermieterinnen waren bei Fragen immer zur Stelle, total unkompliziert, hilfsbereit und sehr freundlich. Haben uns pudelwohl gefühlt!

Definitely a 5 star property

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your property. We were impressed when we drove up and that never changed. Property was conveniently located for all our activities, one of which was meeting with relatives in Vorra who we had not met before this visit.

Alles Top!

Wir waren mit 3 Paaren und Kindern über Silvester dort und fanden das Haus einfach super. Sehr geräumig sowohl die Zimmer als Rückzugsort wie auch das Wohnzimmer und der Essbereich. Außerdem alles vollständig ausgestattet (inkl. Bettzeug und Handtücher) und nicht nur minimalistisch bestückt. Dazu die Lage mit allem was man tagtäglich braucht in Laufreichweite. Einfach klasse und gerne wieder!

Perfect home away from home

This is a comfortable and inviting home and was perfect for a family vacation with children, parents, and grandparents. Claudia and Astrid went out of their way to set up the home for a holiday vacation with decorations and treats for the kids. Highly recommended.

Wonderful hosts’, thoughtful touches and extremely welcoming

We had a really nice time in Fischbach. Excellent facilities and beautifully presented. Spotlessly clean and everything we required was available for use. We were welcomed personally by Astrid and Claudia and made very welcome. Cannot find faults! Thank you!

A wonderful home near Nuremberg

Very nice and extremely relaxing house in a very quiet area and wonderful surroundings, yet few minutes away from the city centre. The house is super clean and fully equipped with everything one can need with a wonderful private garden and patio. Thank you Claudia for being so nice and helpful, and we hope to come again soon

Large house in a quiet neighborhoow

Claudia was a very attentive and helpful host. Hugh house is in a quiet neighborhood that is close to all of the major attraction in Nuernberg.

It's better than home!

If you're planning a visit to Nuremberg, this is an absolute must. The perfect house in the perfect location. It is in the suburb of Fischbach south of Nuremberg and the owners, Claudia and Astrid give excellent directions about how to find it. Parking is easy and off-street. It is easy to get into Nurnberg either by car or by public transport (S Bahn). The home itself has been fitted out with forethought and practicality. It is easy to see that Claudia and Astrid are travellers themselves and know what travellers might need. We were a group who needed three bedrooms. The ground floor bedroom has its own shower and bathroom as do the two bedrooms upstairs. The house is beautifully furnished and has a friendly, welcoming feel to it. The kitchen, dining area and lounge room are cosy and user friendly. There is a washer and dryer down in the basement for those who, like us, have been travelling for a while. The garden surrounding the house is very pretty, although we did not get to see the resident turtles! There is a small supermarket about 5 minutes walk away and another bigger one about 10 minutes walk away. It was wonderful to be able to do our own cooking after a few weeks of restaurant food. Best of all was the hospitality and friendliness of Claudia, Astrid and their mother. We had such a lovely time here and will definitely be back. We miss it already. Thank you Claudia and Astrid!!

Loved it!

Had a great time. House is very spacious. Has everything you need. Good location, everything in a walking distance. Very close to Nurnnerg. Owner of the house Claudia, was very friendly and helpful. Certainly would come back.

We really enjoyed our stay

We stayed (2 adults and three children 13, 10 and 7) at the house for 4 nights in July 2017. Claudia (the owner) welcomed us very warmly, provided information about the area and made us feel at home (in good English). The house is very comfortable and feels more like you are visiting family or friends rather than a temporary rental. The kitchen is well equipped, the garden is beautiful, the Park and Rides are close by car (we drove) but can be reached by bus as well if you are getting into the city. Our kids wanted to stay longer but we had to continue our trip.
