This traditional house is located in the picturesque village of Thassos in Megalo Kazaviti. The house, respecting tradition, has been renovated to maintain the special architecture of the village. Guests can enjoy the special and unique, picturesque hiking trails and of course the natural surroundings with their unique flora and fauna. The stone house has 90 square meters of floor space and the entire property is 700 square meters. It borders the forest and is 15 minutes from the nearest beach by car.
The interior is traditional with 2 fireplaces, wooden floors and ceilings, carved wooden furniture, all this creates an ideal atmosphere of joy and relaxation.
The house has 2 bedrooms, 1 children's room, living room with two sofas and it is for 4 + people.
The kitchen is fully equipped, fridge with freezer compartment, coffee machine and cooking utensils.
Bathroom with bathtub and toilet.
It has a balcony with a table and also in the front yard with a traditional tap.
In the garden with flowers and vines, there is a grill and a large wooden table for cozy evenings.
Kazaviti offers many perfect for endless walks through the forest or on a mountain bike. You can also collect herbs and mushrooms. If you are interested in exploring the mountains, enjoy the wild flowers (for example wild orchids, wild peonies) and other alternative measures visitors can discover.
Kazaviti has the best taverns on the island and you can enjoy your meals.
Thassos is ideal for families or for singles who like activities such as swimming, fishing, water sports, nature trekking, sailing, diving.
Location: The last house in Megalo Kazaviti in a quiet location.
Distance to the beach about 6.5 km. The village of Prinos offers shopping, has a health center, bus stop and every Monday there is a bazaar (weekly market). During the summer months, shops are open all day and Sunday until 11 p.m.
Distance to the ferry port Skala Prinos is approx. 6.5 km and from there to Kavala. Cars, motorbikes and bicycles can be rented on site. Taxis are available at reasonable prices. Airport transfers from Kavala are also easy.
The neighborhood and the whole village is a stone with picturesque streets, full of green, beautiful microclimate, but in the past years many Greeks have converted and many foreigners bought houses here.
Buses go to the village of Prinos, in Kazaviti you can go by car or taxi. For travel, it's best to rent a small car for the narrow streets of Kazaviti (small car only).

* Ferries connect the island with Kavala (1 hour) and Keramoti (30 minutes). There is daily ferry connection between Kavala - Prinos (13 miles). Keramoti - Thassos (6 miles.). Information is available on +30 25930 22106, the Kavala Port Authority or the port office in Keramoti.
* The island has no airport, but will be replaced by Kavala International Airport. From this airport there are daily flights to and from Athens (50 minutes). There are also flights and charter flights to and from major European cities, several times a week. The airport is 3 km from Keramoti, where the ferries connect the capital of the island (30 min).
* Transport on the island: Daily buses take you around the island and go from Prinos to all coastal towns. The 100 km long road network is in an asphalted condition

Dear guests, welcome to Thassos!
We wish you a pleasant and relaxing stay in our apartment, the stone house at the village of Kazaviti in the middle of wild nature. Therefore we ask you to consider a few things:
1. Always close open windows and doors with fly roller grilles, otherwise the insects will not let you sleep at night.
Second Always switch off electrical devices before leaving the house (stove, coffee machine, etc.), as an automatic power cut-off is not appropriate.
Third Please smoke on the terrace.
4th Please leave cats or dogs (all pets) outside.
5th When you leave the house, close the doors.
6th We assume no liability for theft or loss of valuables or documents (please always carry with you).
7th Please remember to take out the waste regularly during your stay. Green bins are on the way at the beginning of the village.
8th. Cleaning and change of bed linen and towels are included in the price (usually once a week).
9th There are no parking spaces.
10th Checkin / Checkout, (flexible) depending on the agreement.
