This home was perfect for a weekend girls' trip. The views are stunning. Everyone had their own room and there was plenty of space to spread out. The access to the creek was nice and relaxing. You are also incredibly close to Mt. Princeton Hot Springs. Check in/check out was incredibly smooth. Communication from the property management company was clear. The only thing of note would be about the kitchen. The kitchen is stocked with stuff to cook; however, the utensils and pots and pans are more of a mix and match situation and less of a complete set. We had a great time overall and would look to rent here again next year.

Rustic cabin tucked into the mountains and overlooking the creek. Wonderful for our group of seven. Lovely gathering spaces. Be aware that one of the bedrooms is in a basement area, with a combined bathroom and laundry room— meaning laundry can only be done when those guests aren’t in the bathroom. Ok if just one family, awkward if not. Loved the magnificent views from every room. Cool enough at night that AC wasn’t needed. Beautiful decor.

Beautiful and quiet cabin on a lot near the hot springs resort. All amenities were great! The views of the forest and river were serene. Overall a great stay!

Cozy mountain retreat

We loved hanging out on the deck with coffee in the morning and for dinner in the evening, and listening to Chalk Creek.

Riverside retreat

Fantastic spot for a relaxing mountain getaway! The cabin is beautiful! Clean, comfy, and inviting. The peaceful sound of Chalk Creek lulls you to sleep at night, and I recommend taking your breakfast down to the creek side in the morning. We're looking forward to going back!

Comfortable and cozy. Loved the sound of the water from the deck. No issues with lack of ac as the weather was great. Fire ban kept us from using the fire pit but the spot was lovely.

Buena vista trip

We had a great time. The kids were very entertained by all the games, the fire pit next to the creek, etc. if we had to say one thing to improve, it would be the internet and the warm water ran out fast. Overall a great time

Cozy cabin close to outdoor adventure

We had plenty of room for our 5 people. Beautiful Mountain View’s. It was close to rafting, fishing, hiking, hot springs, and Buena Vista shopping! The property has river access and a place to make a fire by the river. Super cozy accommodations wits lots of games and books to explore! We will definitely book again!

Great location. Very secluded, but a short drive to many activities.

We had lots of space to spread out and many games to play. The property around the house was beautiful and we opened the windows and listened to the creek. The water situation in the house was an issue - it turned muddy the day before we left and we were unable to bathe!

Great A frame with nice master and second bedroom on main. Kids loved the beds in the loft. Basement was full of toys

Home base for fishing trip

This was the perfect home base for our guys fishing trip on the Arkansas River. It was on a beautiful property that offered seclusion on Chalk Creek yet was right in the middle of the fishing and outdoor action. Easy access to alpine lakes (we fished Hancock lake), the Arkansas River, as well as as short drive over to the South Platte to try our hand at the Dream Stream. This property was really comfortable and felt like home.
