Great place, big house nestled in the woods with great views of Mt Antero off the back deck! Place is located in Alpine CO, which is a secluded and quiet community. Hope to stay there again soon. Highly recommend this place!

The property was beautiful everything that you can imagine. When you look out the master bedroom glass doors you have an amazing view of the mountains. There is an abundance of wildlife you can experience off the deck that spans the length of the cabin. .

Wonderful week in the Collegiate Peaks

Very large, extremely well appointed cabin. We cook all our meals and it was very easy in the spacious and well provisioned kitchen. Very comfortable, and the deck is very inviting.

Blessed place to remain in peace

My family and I stayed over New Year’s Eve and will totally recommend this place where you can encounter yourself with nature by watching through the many windows the amazing landscape of the beautiful mountains. Had the best time after a long year!

Beautiful, clean, and accomodating.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The cabin is spacious with the split levels, and two kitchens. Comfortable for people to spread out. The balcony is nice and big with plenty of seating and a great view. Very well stocked with the little extras you may need or had forgotten. Great communication from owners. Highly recommend this cabin!

2nd time here and still love it!!

Our second time in this beautiful home. We, along with son and d-i-l came at the height of Covid and loved it. This time we included 6 more family members including 6 year old great grand daughter. Had a fabulous time. Riding 4 wheeler and sxs directly out to mountain trails and seeing sights nearby. We'll difinately be back for a third visit!

Exploring from Oklahoma

We come to Colorado to raft and this cabin is by far the best we’ve stayed in. Everything we needed was provided, it was super clean and the beds were very comfortable. The owners did not skimp on anything. We had a big crew, my husband and myself, (2) 21 year olds, (2) 18 year olds and (1) 14 year old. We had plenty of room to relax and enjoy ourselves. We would definitely come back and recommend to everyone. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Tucked in the woods

This house was pretty close to perfect for us. It is nestled in the trees, including beautiful aspens in just the right places. The views of the mountains were the best part and the design of the house maximized the perfect positions for viewing the mountains. We thoroughly enjoyed the multiple outdoor tables and chairs which allowed us to follow the sun during the day. We highly recommend taking in the night sky -- it is beyond description. Everyone commented on the well-stocked kitchen and I feel compelled to reaffirm this. Of the various houses during our trip, this house was the only one that had everything we needed. I enjoyed communicating directly with the owner rather than a management co. It is simply a different experience. It was a privilege to be able to stay here and we are grateful for the family's willingness to share their beautiful part of the world. Very highly recommended.

Beautiful View

The view from the deck was beautiful with the mountains and forest. We had a deer regularly visit. We also saw a moose, rabbits, and chipmunks. The cabin was very roomy and easily accommodated all of us. There are neighbors, but you really can’t see them for all the trees. The road to the cabin was an easy drive. We did have an issue with the Wi-Fi, but the owners made it right. They were responsive which was appreciated. We would stay here again if we visit this area. The drive to St. Elmo was very close and Buena Vista was also fairly close. We rented Jeeps and drove up the mountains where we saw wildlife. This place worked great for our getaway!

Large, very clean, very comfortable house

I would give this cabin a good rating, but the location is not ideal. The property is very clean, well cared for. Beds are comfortable, linens as well and there are plenty of towels, kitchen essentials, etc. However, this is in a dense development. The photo of the lake on the vrbo website is not of anything visible from the house. In fact, you are looking basically straight at some neighbors. I was disappointed to drive so far out of such a small town (30 mins from buena vista, 35-40 salida), through national forest, and then come to a development. My fault for not investigating the location more carefully, but I did think the photos were a little misleading.

Very nice home with great access to trails

We enjoyed our stay immensely! From the house, you can ride your utv's to St Elmo (feed the chipmunks from your hand) and countless trails, no trailering needed. We warched deer and fox with our grandkids from the deck each evening. A great place to relax at the end of a day of leisurely trail riding. Very nice kitchen for my daughter who loves to cook, and a grill for my son-in-law, who prepared the trout he and my grandson caught in a nearby stream. This was our second stay here, would highly recommend this home. We were 7 adults and 3 kids. Would NOT recommend driving a rv to the house, VERY steep section of the road to get here, and a DEEP dip in the road where we had trouble getting thru, and very limited parking near the house for a rv.(we barely made it, and I'm a experienced driver). Plenty of room for several cars/pickups/atvs/utvs/snomobiles at the house (but no flat surfaces). Owners were easy to work with. House was clean. Horse back riding and fishing nearby, Mt Princton hot springs (swimming/lounging) resort just down the road. Really need to plan 5 nights or more if you want to take it all in.

Everything we hoped for; clean, new, excellent view, excellent decor, very roomy (btw - I don't know why it is listed as 3 bed/2bath when it is actually 4 bedroom/3bath not even counting the upstairs loft. - Probably something they should fix but until they do the customer is getting an extra good value.) It is a one hour drive to Monarch just fyi. Super cool little area also. Great stay!

Wonderful time!

We loved this cabin. Remote and fun! Pictures don't do it justice. There is limited wifi so beware of that and you get zero signal. Thank you for letting us stay here!

Glad you enjoyed it! We did get Fiber Internet installed in December! It is a dramatic improvement over the ole Dish that we have had. Still no cell service, but the kids were using wifi calling and seemed to work well.
