Welcome to Sherbet Lane. Enjoy a whimsical & fun mermaid experience at this centrally-located cottage, a half-mile from the beach. Our cottage was recently updated & themed for a unique experience. Including satin mermaid robes for all genders. We offer iced cold water, hot coffee plus a light breakfast which includes waffles or oatmeal. Our keyless entry and brightly lit patio provides safety when coming in after dark. Full laundry services. A charcoal BBQ is available outside for grilling.
Our yard is a shared space with our vacation rental next door. Please be courteous to each other. We do offer bike rentals. We have two bikes for the entire property. First come, first serve basis.

Place was very clean and the owner was very kind and super responsive. The area is a little sketchy and the washer and dryer didn’t work but overall the stay was great and location was close to everything.

The rental unit we stayed was absolutely adorable!!! Spacious and comfortable! Equipped with enough air conditions. Exceptionally clean, fully stocked with whatever you might need for a beach get away. Kally and Orlando are the most down to earth Host and Hostess. They are readily available before, during and after your stay at their rental. We ( 2 females) were caught of guard by the location BUT, don’t let the location fool you. Absolutely safe and friendly! We will definitely rebook a stay if it’s still available on VRBO

We stayed at this cute little house for one night before our cruise. Everything was as advertised. Clean. Well stocked. Comfy beds. The water pressure in the bathroom was alittle low but overall a great experience.

The ammenities were so close! Walkable to beach if healthy and don't mind the sun...You can see parts of pleasure pier from the home. I say home cause house doesn't do it justice!! The home had absolutely everything from pancakes and cocoa for breakfast ability on first day, even a little spice cabinet was perfect to cook at home. We heard no other guests in a bad way like overnight it was silent. The w/d was helpful and the host came by for refills of items and to and towels mid week. We had a 7 day stay and never had a host offer reups for towels or t.p. before. Very attentive hosts! Cute lil home but good space. Bespoke layout of art and cute pillows and statues. Mermaid theme was so cute. Neighbors were friendly and home felt safe with good locks and cameras. Games, books, t.v. and the kids and we had a blast in Galveston for the week and recommend staying here if you want a Home away from yours!!!

Everything about this cottage was enjoyable from the theme to the convenience of being located right in the center of Galveston. Our host was easy to contact and it was easy to access the property. We would definitely stay there again.

The Whimsical Mermaid Cottage was a cute little place to bring my small family for our first trip to Galveston! It was very clean and not a far drive to the beach and all that Galveston has to offer! Can’t wait to come back!

Orlando and Kally have made all the details for these cottages super cute! My friend and I loved staying here. It's the perfect size for two people, and not too far from The Strand shopping and the beach. We had a great time!

Wonderful cottage!

My husband and I came to town for Dickens on the Strand. The cottage was absolutely perfect! It was within walking distance of the Strand, restaurants and breweries. We will definitely be back!

Adorable Cottage, Great location

My friend and I had a girl's weekend. We truly enjoyed this little cottage. It was small and perfect for us. It was very clean and comfortable. Very good location as far as restaurants and entertainment. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful place right between the strand and pleasure pier! Had a power outage first night and the owners quickly called to have it taken care of and provided me lanterns for the night. Thanks for making me feel safe

This is more than a little tangerine cottage. We have also a created a fun experience for your stay with us. We took our love of mermaids and created the Whimsical Mermaid experience. In addition to all the fun but classy mermaid touches throughout the cottage, we have also included 4 satin mermaid robes. So fun for selfies and memories. The Whimsical Mermaid is perfect for a fun staycation, the weekend cruiser, a birthday celebration, the annual girls trip, or that romantic getaway! We know your stay in Galveston will be a sweet adventure. Hopefully, you'll find our home relaxing and stress free. We have stocked our kitchen full of coffee, tea and water. Along with a few breakfast items to start your day. We want you to consider our home your home, even it's only for a few nights. Feel free to reach out to us if you have questions or concerns. Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Our neighborhood is a multi-cultural neighborhood, centrally locally in Galveston. Because it's centrally located, you will sometime hear the sounds of sirens. In addition, our neighbors across the way enjoy the island vibe which includes listening to music and hosting small gatherings. They typically turn their music down by 9:00pm. When you're inside the home, you can barely hear the music. If you are sensitive to sounds, our property may not be the best option. If you enjoy experiencing liveliness and ethic diversity, then our property is perfect. .
