Welcome to Sherbet Lane. Enjoy a whimsical & fun mermaid experience at this centrally-located cottage, a half-mile from the beach. Our cottage was recently updated & themed for a unique experience. Including satin mermaid robes for all genders. We offer iced cold water, hot coffee plus a light breakfast which includes waffles or oatmeal. Our keyless entry and brightly lit patio provides safety when coming in after dark. Full laundry services. A charcoal BBQ is available outside for grilling.
Our yard is a shared space with our vacation rental next door. Please be courteous to each other. We do offer bike rentals. We have two bikes for the entire property. First come, first serve basis.

Everything about this cottage was enjoyable from the theme to the convenience of being located right in the center of Galveston. Our host was easy to contact and it was easy to access the property. We would definitely stay there again.

Fantastic!!!

This was a fantastic stay. We enjoyed this cottage before boarding a Royal Caribbean cruise. This was perfect for our short stay and we really enjoyed the outside space. We were 4 adults, it was a little tight, but the cottage was clean and quaint and, given the adfordable price, was perfect for us. Thank you for sharing with us.

Nice Little House

This house was great. Very clean and the location gives you easy access to whatever you want to do in Galveston. However, there is limited parking just on the street in front of the house. The neighborhood seemed a little sketchy but the house suited the purpose of our trip well at a reasonable price.

Wonderful Family Stay in Galveston

Close to Children’s Museum, restaurants, and both the Strand and the beach! The house itself was very clean. The beds were comfortable—we all slept soundly. The kitchen worked well for cooking breakfast. We liked the decorative touches and that there were books and games for the kids! We appreciate how the host accommodated us upon arrival. Thanks!

They are the brightest and sweetest vacation rentals on the block. Our goal is to provide a comfortable space for you with plenty of extras. You almost will feel like you're at home. We are constantly listening to our guests and making tweaks to ensure you have a great visit to Galveston Island.

In addition to all the fun but classy mermaid touches throughout the cottage, we have also included 4 satin mermaid robes. So fun for selfies and memories. The Whimsical Mermaid is perfect for a fun staycation, the weekend cruiser, a birthday celebration, the annual girls trip, or that romantic getaway! We know your stay in Galveston will be a sweet adventure. Hopefully, you'll find our home relaxing and stress free. We have stocked our kitchen full of coffee, tea and water. Along with a few breakfast items to start your day. We want you to consider our home your home, even it's only for a few nights. Feel free to reach out to us if you have questions or concerns. What makes this property unique

Our neighborhood is a multi-cultural neighborhood, centrally locally in Galveston. Because it's centrally located, you will sometime hear the sounds of sirens. In addition, our neighbors across the way enjoy the island vibe which includes listening to music and hosting small gatherings. They typically turn their music down by 9:00pm. When you're inside the home, you can barely hear the music. If you are sensitive to sounds, our property may not be the best option. If you enjoy experiencing liveliness and ethic diversity, then our property is perfect. .
