Perfect 'home away from home' to welcome our new baby

We had a wonderful 7 weeks in Tulsa at this cute house in the weeks leading up to, and after, the birth of our first child. We loved being a quick walk to the Brookside strip of restaurants, coffee shops and Trader Joe's, and made daily use of the laundry machine. Being so close to Gathering Place was also wonderful. Tiffany was a wonderful host and ensured we were well stocked on everything we could possibly need, including bathrobes!

Solid 4 stars!!

Excellent property with potential to be a 5 star property with some upgrades/repairs. Home was fairly clean upon arrival and check-in was very smooth. Great hardwood floors, superb bedding ,loaded kitchen utensils and upgrades kitchen and paint made it a nice stay. Cons: Front door seals are worn and you can see light coming under front door. This also allowed an insect (1) water bug to enter property. Host responded quickly with can of spray and we tracked it down. This will allow air to escape house and we had to use more A/C. The back door screen door needs to be replaced. It’s very old , doesn’t fit frame and doesn’t ever latch to door. Not cool!! My kids could walk in and out the screen door with no resistance , latch or lock! The homes in this neighborhood don’t have screens on front doors - so safe and secure back door screens are vital. Bathroom window needs upgrade as black mold around window is unattractive in such a beautiful older home. Lastly, the bathroom needs a new fitted door and a proper ventilation exhaust system. Without installing this exhaust system your asking for big problems in short and long term. Black Mold buildup - paint disruption just to name a few. My kids would go to restroom and everyone in the house could smell them. I caught a travel stomach bug and made life a little difficult for my family. Lol Overall we like the house. Location ! Location! Location! Couches were soft but needs t.vs in bedrooms too. Again solid 4 stars !!
