The Peacock Théon - PRECHAC

Welcome to Le Paon Théon, a charming stone house built in the regional style, fully renovated and set in a lush, green setting perfect for relaxation. Ideally located in the heart of southern Gironde, about one kilometer from the village of Préchac, about ten kilometers from Bazas and its cathedral, and just a short walk from the Château de Cazeneuve, our vacation rental, Le Paon Théon, welcomes you for your stay with family or friends. This location is perfect for exploring the region’s many treasures; history and heritage enthusiasts can take a journey back in time while visiting castles, churches, and historic villages. Forest walks and bike trails will allow you to explore these magnificent places and their preserved natural heritage at your own pace throughout your stay. The Ciron River, which flows through our town, offers a variety of activities to enjoy during your stay (fishing, canoeing, swimming, and walking) and leads you to the banks of the Garonne River where it flows into Barsac. The vacation rental is located on a property that also includes the owners’ home. You’ll have a separate entrance with private, enclosed parking, equipped with an electric car charger. An enclosed garden furnished with outdoor seating will let you enjoy pleasant moments depending on the season. Much to the children’s delight, a few chickens on the property will show off their beautiful feathers—and perhaps even their chicks. On the first floor, the cottage features a spacious main room with a fully equipped kitchen (complete with appliances—including a washing machine), a dining area, and a comfortable living room with a sofa bed (140x190), a wood-burning stove, a TV, Wi-Fi, and a separate toilet. Upstairs, there is a master bedroom with a 160x200 bed, an en suite bathroom (shower), and a separate toilet. A second bedroom with a 140x190 bed and a very comfortable sofa bed (140x190), as well as a separate bathroom and an adjoining toilet, complete the layout. The cottage is equipped with reversible air conditioning throughout the house (living room and bedrooms) and a wood-burning stove. Sheets, bath linens, and kitchen linens are provided. End-of-stay cleaning is available (for a fee). A wheelbarrow full of firewood for the stove is provided free of charge. Parking is available on the property, which is fully enclosed with a gate.
