This property is in a nice neighborhood, was clean and comfortable, is close to downtown, and had everything I needed. It has a parking pad in front, as the driveway is very steep.
We needed a place in Chattanooga while working the yard sale. This was a super cute , clean space to return to each night. Great Mid Century vibe. Driveway is steep but there enough parking for a truck and a trailer and the road circles around so there was no need to turn around! Great find!
My stay was nice. AC was having issues. But it didn’t bother me.

Liked: Cleanliness, location
Disliked: Check-in, listing accuracy
Not really what we expected
First off, let me state that it was a nice stay on Saturday and Sunday with a nice bed and sitting area. That said, this was not a VRBO experience. Instead of an entire facility, this was a garage conversion into a mother-in-law suite for a MIL you didn’t like. As noted, it was nice on Saturday and Sunday but at 7:45 on Monday the construction workers arrived and you could hear every step they took as well as, of course, all the banging, drilling, and grinding. I actually was very concerned when we first arrived because it was obvious this was a construction site. The owner assured us that this did not affect where we would be staying. That was true as long as they weren't working on the main house. You would think that if you're going to rent out an attached apartment that you would tell the workers not to show up until checkout time so as not to disturb the guests. I loved the location but knowing how well sound comes through from the main house, I would not recommend this rental. On top of that, this is nowhere near the VRBO experiences I have had in the past as I was expecting this to be more of a small cabin because VRBO always is the entire place.
My son and I had a wonderful time staying at this place. It looks just like the pictures. It's very cute with mid-century design mixed with farmhouse chic. It's perfect for a romantic getaway as well. The place is very clean and has everything you need. Also close to Downtown. The only downside was the construction going on in the main house, which made it a little noisy at times. But overall, very happy and highly recommended.
Everything was as described in the listing. The room was clean and spacious and well kept. The host was responsive and helpful. The driveway is indeed very steep (as mentioned in the listing) but there are some stairs next to it that help. The location is perfect. 10-15 mins from downtown Chattanooga and all the fun stuff! Had a great stay!
We really liked the property and it was all that was said in listing but wish there would have been more info that there was construction going on in the main house.. wasn’t much sleeping in late! But other than that we enjoyed it.
The place was exactly as described and a perfect place to come back to after a long day of hiking and doing activities in the Chattanooga area. The host was great about communicating and keeping us updated when needed and was accommodating. I would stay again if I were back in the Chattanooga area and I highly recommend to others!
An overall positive and enjoyable stay in a cozy location, the property was near all the fun and quaint spots in Chattanooga. My friend and I enjoyed the easy check in and out. We would high recommend.
We had two adults stay for two nights. Overall a very good stay. Our first impression wasn’t great- the host didn’t respond to any communication until check in time, though communication was excellent during the stay. When we arrived, it was after dark. There were no lights outside, by the door, or inside. We fumbled around after walking up a steep hill in the dark. Not good. The room we stayed in is absolutely not a whole house, as it was listed. It’s clearly the den of the main house with a bathroom added. We were not able to control the heat of our on our own, bit would have to message the host if we wanted it changed we had a fairly chilly stay, as the hot water didn’t get very hot, and didn’t last long. I also would have appreciated a working coffee maker, and a tea or hot cocoa option, instead of a faulty espresso machine. To me, these are easy fixes. Add a porch light, leave it on. Increase the temperature setting on the hot water tank. And provide a remote for the thermostat! The lace was very clean, sure cute, and we were very happy with the location. we
The property was very accurate based on its description. Was not too far out of town, but everything is driving distance. It would definitely stay there again!
Our stay was facilitated by an easy check-in and checkout process. The furnishings were nice with the mid-century modern vibe. The neighborhood was quiet, as was the property. Bathroom and shower were modern and nicely done. Bed was very comfortable, as we like a firm mattress.
Improvements that could be made:
- Take a few minutes to sweep the long, steep steps from the road to the door. Pine cones, branches and pine needles were unsightly and could be hazardous.
- There were no snacks as indicated in the description (No big deal since we always bring our own)
- Outside table and chairs were unusable due to a large fallen branch that appeared to have been there for months.
- No coffee cups or sweeteners. Only a Nespresso maker. I like a nice cup of espresso, but not everyone does, and having a simple coffeemaker would be preferable, or at least as a second option. Tea would also be favorable.
If you wanna stay in Chattanooga in a quaint place, this is the place to for you. This peaceful place is located in a great neighborhood and the owners have put great thought into details and amenities for the guest. We definitely recommend this place to others and more likely than not will stay there again. Great communication as well.
This little place was perfect for my boyfriend and I to spend the weekend in Chattanooga! The location was perfect and we had no problems checking in or communicating with the host. Would definitely recommend :)
