DETAILS AND AMENITIES:
Your island getaway begins as you step foot into this casual compound with a delightful private porch and conch-style cottage that will captivate your island soul. Carry your crafted cocktail to the deck area and pool which comes heated in the winter months, cooled by the protective canopies, exquisite swaying palms and gentle breezes. Stretch out in a deck chair for a lazy nap or delve into your guilty reading pleasure. Toss some burgers on the shared outside grill for an al fresco treat.

SLEEPING AND KITCHEN ARRANGEMENTS...
Step into this charming studio with island-inspired decor and updated sleeping accommodations. The bedroom offers a newly-remodeled king bed with plush bedding, ceiling fan and wall-mounted HD TV. The kitchenette includes a quartz countertop and wet bar sink, microwave, refrigerator, and keurig station. Wash the day off in your private en suite bathroom with enclosed glass and marble tiled shower, quartz sink counter and large bathroom mirror. Slip outside to your private deck to view our botanical gardens that overlook the pool and stone waterfall.

Parking is offered on a first come first serve basis, and there is plenty of free street parking available if a space is not available upon your arrival.

It was no contact to let yourself in. Felt very private and safe. Went to Key West for my Birthday. The pool was warm for this very cold weekend. We brought our bikes so everything was within a 2-6 minute ride or 16 minute walk. We couldn't have picked a better place or location (parked our car and never moved it). Bonus: no laundry list of things to do before you check out! We'll be back. Thank you.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a hidden gem! Walking distance to restaurants, shopping and sunsets. Gated and locked entrance, providing a private oasis. We stayed in the Sugar Palm Studio which was steps from the pool. The studio decor was relaxing and offered perfect amenities including good sized mini fridge, microwave and dinnerware for two. The pool was always at the perfect temperature for relaxing and surrounded by greenery and cute areas for private seating. When I couldn't figure out how to use the Keurig, management was quick to stop by and help me with my user error. Would definitely stay here again!

Unit was super clean and well maintained. Had everything we needed and more. We had a small hiccup at the beginning of our stay, but the host made up for it which we appreciated very much especially since customer service isn't what it used to be these days. VRBO was of no help when we had a problem. But again, the property and the host made our vacation a memorable experience for our first time in Key West. I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed there before and wanted to stay again. Very lovely. Maybe stay a little closer to the State Park or a little closer walking to things next time, but we always recommend your place. A few tweeks that could be maseConfusing communication. The patio chair very broken,no dishwashing soap. 1 tiny bar of soap for shower.

We enjoyed our stay here for 3 nights. We loved the pool and the location. We ate at El Siboney's (just steps away) and it was delicious. We were a little disappointed there was no table to eat at in the room. There are tables outside but its too hot to eat outside IMO. I dont understand why you have a kitchen and no table? It would be so easy to add one plus a 2nd chair. Why not have 2 so a couple could enjoy a meal together without having to eat in the bed?? The only other issue was we woke up the last morning to tiny ants all over the kitchen countertop. We did not leave food out unopened. We tried to wipe them away so we could enjoy the yogurt & berries with muffins we had purchased and had in the refrigerator. Overall, a nice relaxing place to stay.

Easy street and property parking first come first serve. We never had a problem. Pool was refreshing after a day at the beach. Room was excellent bed very comfortable. Kitchenette did the job! The ice machine and filtered water machine was a huge plus! Not having to buy water is fab in a place like Key West! And all the ice you could possibly need. The location is fantastic not far from Duval street! I will be staying at this location again!

Great Quiet Location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I have been to Key West about 40 times and have been coming here since 1978. I have seen many changes to the island and have stayed all over the historic area. One change I have noticed is many of the accommodations have been updated and maintained better throughout the years and this place is one of them. The studios and suites have been nicely updated with modern bathrooms, kitchens, linens, etc. The pool area was clean, shaded, surrounded by a well kept garden area. The filtered water and pitchers provided was a nice feature as Florida tap water isn't the best. The location is near all of the main attractions (restaurants, shops, bars, etc.) yet in a very quiet neighborhood. Many things are within walking or biking distance. I chose The Sugar Palm Studio because the door is literally right at the pool and the waterfall making the outside deck a nice place to relax. I would recommend this place for long or short term stays.
