Downstairs apt. was clean and in a quiet neighborhood. That said, think Bongzilla lived above. Smell of skunky weed permeated the apt. and plenty of loud activity until past midnight. Think if you expect others to be quiet by a certain hour, maybe the host should expect the same of themselves.

Cute and accurate

The property was so cute and the location was perfect for our needs. There were normal older-house noises (creaking wood, can faintly hear conversations upstairs), which are noted in the listing and remedied by the noise-reducing items for use (white noise machines, ear plugs, box fan)! I appreciated that coffee was available to make and the robe in the bathroom was a nice touch. Would definitely stay again!

Apartment was fine. Street level. Quiet neighborhood. It is a basement unit so you do hear the family above from time to time. Basic items are there. We selected this unit over others mostly because it had a king size bed. They could use some blankets as it only had a sheet and light comforter. It could also use fold away luggage racks so you had a place to put your luggage. No dresser. There is only a tiny dining table, this is set up for max of two people. Did not see host. We would probably stay again.

I like the highland bull and the horse pictures on the wall. I also appreciate that there were television options besides Network TV and commercials. The place was clean, quiet, and comfortable. Because we are asked to separate trash from recyclables, it would be good if the property provided receptacles for recyclables. There was very limited communication between the office and me before I arrived. But then the office emailed me each day, which was excessive. I don't need to be reminded each day regarding check out expectations.

Dont stay here if you want to sleep

I had booked this place for my employees to stay, the first night I was not sent the check in code and reached out several times to try and get it. There was no answer and they didn't get back to me till the next day, we had to get a hotel that night!!! After all of that my employee said they were up all night and being very loud, so much so that he got no sleep. There was earplugs on a table next to a sign that said "we might get loud." They got no sleep and they couldn't even stay there the first night! Grossly unprofessional!
