Romantic adobe house, pet friendly, walk everywhere
Beautifully remodeled 1825 adobe casita in the heart of the historical Eastside. Very short walk to Canyon road, El Farol, the Teahouse, Geronimo, and much more! 20 minute walk to the plaza. Pet friendly on approval.
This historical house is nicely decorated with high end linens, antiques, and new appliances. Miele washer, dryer, and vacuum cleaner, Big Chill refrigerator and induction range. It is 725 square feet with a whisper-quiet remote controlled mini-split for heating and cooling, and underfloor heat in the kitchen. Beautiful hand-laid tile.
The adobe walls make for quiet, cozy sleeping. The brand new remote-controlled mini-split provides for heating or cooling, as needed. There is radiant heat in the kitchen.
Floors are hardwood and Saltillo tile, with the exception of the bathroom.
The wifi is fast, and we have used it for many audio-video calls -- great for remote working. There is a standing desk that can be used inside or outside, and a sitting desk inside.
There is no television.

About the host
Hosted by Anne Hunt
My husband, Simon, and I have lived in Santa Fe for two years. We love it! We especially love the location of our cottage on the historic East side. We look forward to sharing fun facts and places with those who stay at our house.
Why they chose this property
This is a historical cottage, built in the early 1800's. It has thick adobe walls, hardwood and tile floors, and is very quiet and peaceful inside. We have updated the kitchen with beautiful appliances and underfloor heating. We have recently added many plants and flowers to the garden. This is a friendly neighborhood where you can walk to everything but not have a lot of traffic outside.
