Following an incident where a young child accidentally locked themselves in, we made a proactive decision to remove the lock for safety reasons. This change was implemented with the utmost care for our guests' well-being in mind. Regarding the swimming pools, The Tides proudly offers two options - a heated pool and a non-heated one, catering to diverse preferences. I understand you favored the heated pool, which is conveniently located in the adjacent building, designed to provide our guests with a variety of choices. In response to the city's pipe break, this was an unforeseen event that impacted several buildings along the beach, not just our establishment. We had water available throughout your stay, but as a precaution, the city advised boiling water for safety. This advisory, along with its subsequent lifting, was clearly communicated at the front desk. We always strive to keep our guests informed and regret any inconvenience this might have caused. As for your comments on the accommodations at Hyde, we do manage several condos there. However, it's important to note that these are priced much higher, reflecting their different offerings. We understand that preferences vary, and we aim to provide options that suit a range of budgets and tastes. We are committed to ensuring a pleasant stay for all our guests, though we recognize that sometimes it can be challenging to meet every individual expectation.
