Renovated in 2022, This Family and Pet-friendly has 3 beds / 2 baths, spread out on 2 floors with living rooms on each floor. 1560 sq ft large, spread out on 2.5 Acres in the woods by Little Bear Creek for your next vacation!

Local town pool available Late Spring/Summer/Early Fall. Plenty of parking.

A very pretty 2.5 acre property with many iris flowers, wild gooseberries, wild strawberries and an incredible number and variety of trees. It is so quiet you can listen to the creek, hear the birds chirp and the bee's buzz.

Three bedrooms and two full bathrooms ensure privacy and quiet while two living rooms ensure gathering spaces for all.

We happened to stay here during a severe snow storm, and the cabin lost power. We called/texted the owner, but there was no response, so after a few hours, we called VRBO who assisted in providing us with a refund. The owner eventually did call us back, and was friendly and offered to walk us through setting up a generator to the cabin to supply electricity, but we opted to leave since the storm was forecast to worsen.The cabin itself was lovely, with a very well stocked kitchen. The bathrooms are updated and we enjoyed using the wood burning stove. A friendly neighbor was helpful in giving us guidance on the storm, which we appreciated. We would stay here again.

Modest cabin in the woods

Hosts went out of their stay to make our stay enjoyable and we’re very responsive. While the cabin is modest, the location is just down the road from the Dutch Flat hotel which is why we booked it since we were attending a wedding there.

Short get away

We had a lovely time at this cabin. We were able to visit Lake Spaulding, Lake Reservoir and dutch flat community pool during our stay. The downstairs addition was very open and worked well for the kids. Highly recommend!

Getsway

The area was beautiful lots of trees and fresh air. The tv’s did not work even with help from owner. The master bedroom was the only room with an air conditioner. There were only 4 outdoor chairs and 2 of them were under a tarp and had to be cleaned off with a towel ( no hose). The key pad would not lock at the front door and there was no key. Kitchen was well equipped and had lots of condiments. Maybe in the fall it would have been more comfortable but with the house not having any airconditioning it was pretty hot.

My Parents were displaced due to the Mosquito fire, and this house was a blessing for them. The owners were easy to get a hold of and very helpful. Thank you very much!
