Nestled just a 25-minute drive from the vibrant Rehoboth Beach Boardwalk and a 21-minute drive from the stunning Cape Henlopen State Park, this property offers the perfect base for your coastal getaway.

As a traveler, you'll delight in the thoughtful amenities that await you, including free WiFi, a washing machine and dryer, and a smart TV to keep you entertained. The fully stocked kitchen, complete with a stove, oven, refrigerator, grill, and more, will allow you to savor delicious home-cooked meals. This is a wonderful, well-stocked, well-kept cottage on a quiet waterfront block of Broadkill Beach within walking distance to the Broadkill Beach store. The best amenity is the guest cottage, great for guests. Nannette is a first class host who is easy to get in touch with and responds quickly to any questions. This is our second time at this property and we look forward to staying there again.

The host provided everything you would need for a perfect vacation sans linens and towels! The guest house was an added bonus for our guests. One minute barefoot walk to the clean and quiet beach.We loved everything about this home.

We have stayed at this location in the past and like that it's close to the beach, the cleanliness and the kitchen is very well equipped with everything we needed. There were also beach chairs, umbrellas and games. Everything we needed! We also like that the suite is ideal for the grandparents to stay and the outside shower. Nanette was quick to reply to questions.

Truly a gem. We had such a nice stay. Anything we needed was available. Super thoughtful host with all the beach accessories and the location was perfect. So peaceful and beautiful. House was pristine.

We love this little cottage. We’ve been coming down with the kids the past two years. The house is adorable. The beach is steps away, clean, not crowded, Rehoboth is an easy drive for activities and boardwalk time and the “guest cottage” gives us a perfect, private retreat at the end of the day.

Pleasant cottage within minutes to the beach. Lots of thoughtful amenities and the house was well maintained and clean. The smaller unit behind the main one is a nice option for a larger party.

Great location right by the beach

Chose this location because the beach is dog friendly (off-leash). Owner made sure the check-in process was smooth. We had a great time exploring the area.

Small, cozy beach cottage. Only a few steps to the beach. The cottage has a fun beach vibe. Kitchen well-stocked. Beds comfy. There is a separate extra suite in the back that we didn’t use, but would be nice if traveling with a larger group. Would definitely stay here again.

Memorial Day Weekend

The cottage is amazing and this was our 2nd stay, which was just as good as the first. You are literally steps from the beach in a relaxing/secluded area. The cottage has everything you could want and the owners go above and beyond to make sure you have a fantastic time. We are already planning our next trip back.

The property was perfect for our needs. It was comfortable, clean and well stocked with cooking and kitchen supplies as well as beach chairs etc and so close to the beach.

family vacation

We enjoyed the Calypso Cottage and BKB very much- it was a very relaxing place with lots of activities close by if you wanted to go to Lewes or Rehobeth. We biked and swam every day!

Calypso cottage is perfect

Cute, beautifully equipped. And broadbill Beach is 3 houses away—not many people, gentle Bay conditions and beautiful sunrise .

Adorable & Clean

We absolutely enjoyed our stay. The quest cottage was perfect for our son & daughter-in-law with a young baby. Quick easy walk to the dog friendly beach. Very clean and lots of little things that made the vacay enjoyable - games for rainy day, beach chairs, bikes, etc.

Great house - Clean, cozy & comfortable

This is a.great house steps from the beach. Very clean, comfortable beds, nice neighborhood. Loved having places to put our stuff (dressers, wall hooks, closets). We enjoyed sitting in the sun room and spending time together in the living room.

This cottage was absolutely lovely and incredibly charming! Having the secondary cottage on the same property was the perfect setup for travelling with family. The attention to detail was phenomenal; little signs that described how to use the showers, which cabinet doors were permanently fixed so you knew not to try to open them, recommendations on plugging in one appliance at a time so the breaker doesn't trip, etc. We had a fantastic experience and the location was amazing! Nannette (the host) was extremely responsive and helpful, even recommended things for us to do with our kiddos. Would definitley stay here again!

I grew up in Milton, and spent most of the summer months on the beaches in Lewes and Cape Helopen. My husband, a native born Delawarian, first learned to love the water and beaches through our travels and then by learning to fish on the shores of Cape Helopen. We both agreed that we wanted a get-away place with a view of the sand and the sea. Not wanting to have to travel to far, we decided to buy a place in Delaware. We hope you will enjoy Calypso Cottage as much as we do.

Calypso Cottage is a cute cottage that almost fronts Broadkill beach. Broadkill Beach is a long strip of land with Prime Hook National Wildlife Refuge on one side and the Delaware bay on the other. Because it is basically one road, with a dead end at the north and south, it is a very chill and private beach, worlds away from Rehoboth or Dewey. At the entrance to the Broadkill neighborhood is the Broadkill Store which sells the basics for a beach vacation.
