While this condo is dog-friendly, dogs are not allowed on the beach. The following breeds are prohibited: Akita, Australian Blue Heeler, Boxer, Bull Mastiff, Chow, Dalmatian, Doberman, English Bulldog, Great Dane, Husky (any type), Malamute, Mastiff (any variation), Pit Bull, Presa Canario, Rottweiler, Saint Bernard, Wolf-dog Hybrid.

excellent stay

SO close to the beach/sand. The sofa is very comfortable for pullout (and large). Thank goodness we didn't need the elevator, it wasn't working while we were there. Great covered parking. Room was super clean.

This is very nice unit with a great location. We only had some minor cleanliness concerns. First, some of the silverware was not cleaned very well (dried food still on it). Second, the plates were all still wet (put away but not dried). There is no dishwasher so everything has to be hand washed. The renters are expected to clean, so whomever cleaned prior to us was not thorough. Also, the floor was sticky around the fridge (meaning someone spilled some beverage but it was not mopped up). Other than this, the place was great. The only concern about the overall complex was the smoking. The entire complex - both inside the units and in the outside areas - are supposed to be smoke free. But, when we were on our balcony, we could smell marijuana. That is not at all pleasant, so it detracted from the beautiful view. Speaking of which, the sunsets are gorgeous - which we could easily see from the balcony and not just on the beach.

Very nice!

The beach location can't be beat. The place is spotless and the big bed is very comfortable. My only real issue was the noisy HVAC, but the weather was perfect so I just turned it off.

Beautiful view & sunsets

Beach very close. Must take your own chairs & umbrella, no beach service.. Beach not crowded during mid April. Great for hunting seashells.

Kitchen is efficient and well equipped. It is small, but usable. We were able to cook a few meals. Sleeper sofa is VERY comfortable and easy to use. There were reviews regarding the light coming through the bedroom window and we found this was an issue as well. I was able to hand some dark shirts on hangers from the curtain rod to help block the light. If you're a light sleeper due to light, I would bring something to cover it. I would recommend management invest in a dark curtain or something under the curtain to help with light at night. There is no deadbolt inside the unit for the door. It needs something added (like a hotel lock at the top) for added security. The digital access code to go in and out of the unit was super easy and helpful. The unit is on level 1 with a ramp access to the unit. Thank goodness, but the elevator was out of service and we didn't realize we were on level 1 until we arrived. The pool is very small, but clean and nice. The beach was not crowded when we were there. The beach is SO close to the building and the view from the small little dining table feels like you're literally sitting on the beach, but you're in the unit. We visit IRB almost every year and this is the closest we've ever been to the beach (even though we are beach facing unit every year). The unit was spotless when we arrived. We had three adults (my spouse, my adult daughter, and myself.). She said the sleeper sofa (which is probably a king) was very comfortable.

Perfect little spot

If you love being on the beach and barely any other people around this is the place! We have stayed in a different condo in this location previously. Perfect for young kids. Only thing is the tv in this counter space I think should be mounted because there is ZERO counter space. Also there is no dresser in the bedroom minus 2 small ones. For a family of 4 including kids it’s not enough space. We only stayed a few days but a longer trip I think it would be difficult.

Amazing location

It’s small, but it’s right on the beach in a quiet neighborhood. Awesome ocean view from the sliding glass door in the living room. Comfy bed, clean bathroom. Adequate kitchen stocked with the basics. No washer/dryer in unit. Walls are paper thin (that’s everywhere on the coast tho). They do have beach chairs and beach towels you can use. Restaurants are a 10 minute drive away. Overall an excellent value for the money.

Great beachfront

Great relaxing spot on the beach. Kitchen is gorgeous. Bed and pillows are super comfy. Had two beach chairs. Window in bedroom need blackout curtains. In need of some minor cosmetic changes that could easily spruce up the place. Pool was great. Fridge wasn’t very cold, and a repairman was sent immediately. For some reason they were never able to give us our access code to the condo and we had to use a key for the entire stay. This place is quite, on a nice relaxing private beach.

Nice get away!

Perfect location just steps to the beach! Building in need of some renovation which we understand will happen soon. Quick response when we reported a broken beach chair. A new one was brought to us while we sat on the beach. Pattern rug in living room should be cleaned on replaced.

Great View; Needs Maintenance

The view out the window and off the balcony cannot be beat. The beach is terrific - wide and uncrowded. The unit was overall clean and big enough for two people for a couple of days. The updated kitchen was nice and had everything we needed. However, this was the kind of place where we never knew what we were going to find broken next, which in our case included a closet door that almost fell on my head, the toilet paper holder coming out of its mount, and a beach chair that was so broken it was unusable. The management company was somewhat responsive but only after their chatbot initially responded with a canned text.If you go, bring eye masks because there is a light outside the bedroom window that makes it bright as daylight in there even through the blinds. Also, be sure to print the parking pass before you go unless you want to spend some of your vacation running out to get it printed like we did. Not sure why the management company can't just leave it in the unit.Bottom line is that we are neutral on this place. We wouldn't recommend it other than for the view, but we wouldn't not recommend it either. In short, it was fine.

Pros and Cons

Location was the best feature. Beautiful view steps to the beach! However, place needs some TLC. Rug in living area was filthy! Stains everywhere, floors were dirty you need to wear slippers. It needs to be painted, 1 beach chair was ripped unable to use. Only 1 beach towel so bring your own if you can. Aside from that it was clean other than floors. It's very cute the view and location is unbeatable. Quiet & Comfy. I would book this place again if it were through any other company than vacasa!

Needs freshening up

Ceiling in the LR needs to be repaired. Interior painting near slider was not completed. Bath tub drain needs to be cleared as showers resulted in standing in 2 inches of water. AC unit in the bedroom sounds like a jet engine, if you are a light sleeper, look elsewhere.

The property was under construction, scaffolding blocking view and awoken to drills and banging .

Unacceptable to be charged the amount we payed for constant construction noise. Shame on you. I checked with vacasa regarding a late check out, heard back in over 24 hours. Horrible experience.

AC

The AC handling unit was so loud and located in the bedroom. Had to turn it off at night which made it uncomfortable to sleep. Plus the vent opened blew so hard had to also close it at times, especially the bedroom and bathroom. Overall it was a good unit but needed some TLC to the ceilings. Also the electric stuff was difficult to turn off. I think the button must be faulty over its long use.

It was a 5th party situation. Call and call around. No help. They take your money, help with nothing. I broke my toe on missing trim. Curtain rods falling down, no electricity, poor plumbing, no furniture for the balcony, air conditioning didn't work at all, pretty sure we killes a roach. Absolutely the worst stay ever

It's a suite, not a condo

If you are expecting an apartment condominium, you will be disappointed. The location to the beach is fantastic; the property was presented in spotless condition. However, everything about this property says "suite", not apartment. The kitchen is effectively non-functional from the perspective of trying to prepare a meal. Tiny, a cooktop where only one burner can be used at a time, zero space for prep, no oven and a non-functional toaster oven (with no place to put it while it is in use). You will get better value at a Residence Inn or a Hilton Garden Suites with the same or greater space and improved amenities versus this property. The beach is fantastic - the highlight of the entire stay. Annoying details like an unadjustable fan / light in the great room, washing machines that require an endless supply of quarters (with no change machine or credit card option), etc. It is claustrophobic - clean, updated, bright, but tiny.
