Basedow, one of the most beautiful places in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, lies with its picturesque lock and the landscape park designed by Lenné in the middle of the Mecklenburg Switzerland. Here is also the seat of the nature parks Mecklenburg Switzerland and Kummerower See. Lake Malchin is only a stone's throw away. There are many cycling and hiking trails in the area around Basedow. Our house is located in the historic center with cafes and restaurants. In the neighboring Gessin there is a village shop with products directly from the producer.

Apartment Half-timbered house:
Our spacious and comfortably furnished apartment is located on the upper floor of our traditional and lovingly restored half-timbered house near the castle in the center of Basedow. It has: • a separate entrance • a spacious living room with extra bed on a sofa bed • a quiet and spacious bedroom with a double and a single bed • a bathroom with shower and bathtub • a kitchen with fitted kitchen and dining area. Since the apartment is accessible via a staircase, it is only partially suitable for guests with restricted mobility. Families with children can book a travel cot and a highchair free of charge. The staircase can be secured with a stair gate, so that small children in the apartment are also safe. Outside there is a seating area and a free parking.

Arrivals are possible from 15:00 to 20:00 and departures from 07:00 to 10:00.
