Would stay again, great location!

We stayed for Thanksgiving to meet family that lived close. Enjoyed the location on the lake, and the open themed home.

Great property and customer service!

Our group had a great stay in this spacious and clean property. Our host communicated promptly and was very accommodating for our visit as our travel plans were impacted by Hurricane Ian. Would definitely stay here again!

Awesome Family Getaway!

We visited the house for my sons 15th birthday and it was amazing! The house was very clean, spacious and well laid out. There was tons of sitting areas. The porches were beautiful, had great views and very comfy too. I highly recommend this property to anyone wanting a family, friend or group trip!

Thank you Paul for staying at Sunset Cove! Yes the shallow water at the dock means no jumping in to swim but we can still launch and park the boats and paddle out to swim! But you are correct that is the only issue with our place and unfortunately it is something that is not in our power to change. Thank you again!

Great weekend!

The six of us throughly enjoyed our stay. The seating areas in the house were perfect for us. We could gather in the dining room, the great room, the glassed in porch, the screen porch, or the kitchen. It was great to be always looking out on the water.

Summer fun at the lake.

The home is beautiful with spectacular views of Lake Murray. The kitchen is well-equipped and appliances are high end. Inflatable water rafts and noodles made swimming fun. Fun vacation!

Lake house is hidden and quite. Very nice to sit by a fire and a great Lake view. Plenty to keep us entertained for a few days. Pool table, ping pong, hoops, cornhole. Everyone enjoyed our stay.

We enjoyed everything about our stay in this beautiful home. Everything was clean and the home was well stocked with everything we needed. Plenty of space for gathering together and also, space for time alone if needed. The view was absolutely amazing! Thank you, Donna, for opening up your home to us....it was definitely a piece of paradise for sure!!

Family trip

This was a great place to gather with family. We had lots of room to spread out. The dock was a little disappointing and much shorter than portrayed. We ran out of dishwasher soap and toilet paper after the 2nd day, but the hosts were quick to try to remedy that despite not living in the area. Sunset Cove was very peaceful with beautiful sunsets.

Great Time!

We had a fantastic weekend at Sunset Cove. The view of the lake from the screened in porch, sun room, multiple balconies, and the dock was unbelievable and so peaceful! Only some minor improvements could be made, such as cleaning off the screened in porch and outdoor decks and improving the Wi-Fi/TV as we couldn’t really watch much of it due to signal (not always a bad thing to unplug!).

Thank you so much for your thoughtful review Gary! We do not live in the area and do not get there regularly but actually happened to be there on your check out day so we did see all of the nature blown onto the screen on the screen porch as well as the decks. We do try to stay on top of that but one good storm brings it all in again! Very sorry about any connection issues that you may have had. We use TMobile for internet and the TV services are streamed and until this point we are were not aware of any issues, will certainly keep an eye on this! Thank you very much for your stay and hope that you will return one day!

Sept 2022 family trip

Great house! Kitchen and house very well stocked. Owner reached out to advise water level low, we went to River Winds landing and put boats in for $5.00,easy boat ride back to house/dock. Our group had 4 generations plenty of room for all. Nice quiet area. House and owners very welcoming.

Great place for family fun and relaxing time

Beautiful natural scenery, peaceful views of the lake at sunset. Plenty of space inside the house, high ceilings and open concept. Lots of board games, pool table, ping pong and basketball game so even if it rains plenty of activities to keep the kids entertained. Kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked + nice additional toiletries. Property manager responded promptly whenever I had a question. Was super easy overall check-in/check-out process. Would def book here again.

Family Fun

We couldn’t have picked a more perfect place to spend time together with our family. The home has everything and more as you have it listed! I was so thankful you had a chair lift in your home. I definitely relied on it several times due to having a recent hip replacement. The fishing on your lake was awesome and we rented a boat which made it even more fun. Your home has so many fun things to do and we will be coming back. Thanks!

Absolutely Perfect!

This house was perfect for my young adult children and their Plus 1s as well as my parents (Grandma and Grandpa). Had a fabulous time celebrating my son's graduation from USC and had lots of fun and bonding time with all the games provided! Unfortunately we did not get to use the lake ( a little cold that weekend and still debris, which was disclosed!)but enjoyed the dock and got some great pictures, Beautiful home and area. A nice escape from the crowds near campus too! Owners thought of everything. Happy to have finally seen Lake Murray and would definitely go back!

Lake Murray

Everything was just what I expected. We did have a small issue with a bathroom pocket door downstairs. It came off its track the first time we tried to close it. Not a big deal for us. Just hope that no one thinks we caused it because I’m sure it had issues before us. Thank you

Lake Weekend

My family and I enjoyed our stay at your home. There were a lot of small touches that made us feel welcome like the travel items in the bathrooms, robes, complimentary bottle of wine, etc. We had immediate access to the lake which the kids took advantage of by swimming right in the cove. Unfortunately, we were not able to use the boat ramp for our boat due to the water level which would have potentially changed our decision to stay had that been mentioned in the listing which I know has since been updated. The stairs that lead down to the garage are extremely steep and narrow which was a little unsettling with little kids around. Rick and Donna was very responsive and helpful.

Wonderful Time at Sunset Cove

This was our first time renting through Vrbo. Our time at Sunset Cove was wonderful! The house met all our needs for two families to stay. The spacious floor plan gave everyone space to relax on the porches, enjoying college football, and napping. Our only disappointment was the dock. We love boat riding and we were unable to put our boat in at the boat ramp on the property. The lake water level is too low at this location so we had to take a 15-25 minute ride away from the home to put our boat in. Upon arriving and reading the Welcome Book on the front table in the foyer, we found out that even the water level at normal capacity is around 6 feet “at the end of the dock furtherest out in the water”. This would be helpful to be added to the Vrbo listing online for future guest; especially those that would want to rent the home, like we did, for ease of access to a boat ramp. Overall, the home is lovely and helped us to make some wonderful memories with friends! A special “Thank You” to Mrs. Donna for her speedy responses to my questions!
