PENTHOUSE with PRIVATE PANORAMIC ROOF TERRACE, Old Historical centre, Trastevere

This Penthouse apartment ("angelishouse" - unit A) is provided with a large private PANORAMIC ROOF TERRACE.
The panoramic Terrace allows guest to enjoy maglificent views of Rome' rooftops. This property is located quite in the Heart of Old Historical centre.
The lower level consists of the living/dining room with a sofa bed and kitchen area, the 1st bedroom and the 1st bathroom.
The upper level consists of the 2nd bedroom ("master"), the 2nd bathroom and accesses to the large Panoramic terrace with a wonderful view of Rome.
Even though Trastevere is a very live/busy area (mostly at night when both natives and tourists like to walk in the narrows "vicoli" characteristic of this area), the street where the property is located is one of the most quiet of the area.
Then, to improve confort (and save evergy) all the windows are also "double glasses" provided.
This property is situated at the 3rd floor (no elevator).

The terrace is also equipped with "Lanai/Veranda", table/chairs up to 6 people, gas BBQ, led "ambient" lights, reclinable arm chair, lots of plants, flowers and seasonal organic spices.

Very high quality furnishings complete the interior design:

I (or an other member of my family) will personally met and help on your arrival day.

TOURIST CITY TAX (!): it costs Euro 6.00 euro per person, per night for any guests aged over 10 years old. This cost is not included in the cost (“Total rental amount”) of your stay. This municipally tax is calculated only for the first 10 nights of your stay. This tax will be paid (only by cash) upon check in.

Unpon request, and free of charge, we can also provide:

Wonderful host

Location and terrace!

This was a great visit! Trastevere is a fantastic area to stay in Rome. Obviously, the rooftop terrace is delightful. And Alessio is a prince. He carried our heaviest bag up the stairs when we got there and down when we left!

The penthouse flat in Trastevere was charming, beautiful and couldn’t ask for a better location! The terrace was the just lovely. Alessio was great. I would stay here again and recommend 💯

Amazing property and host!

We really enjoyed our time at this property! The host, Alessio was so helpful. Communication was easy. He met us at the property and not only went over the details of the place but also gave us great information about Rome, the neighborhood, shopping, and dining. The property itself is beautiful! The pictures don't do it justice. It is clean and bright and the roof top terrace was amazing. We spent a lot of time up there enjoying the view and sunshine. The neighborhood was really nice and walking distance to great shops and restaurants. Really recommend this apartment and host!

The location was perfect. We loved the neighborhood. The apartment was ideal for 2 adults and 2 teens, provided everything we needed with the patio being a great treat. Alessio, the owner, could not have been more helpful with check-in, neighborhood recommendations and other advice. You cannot go wrong with this place.

Great time in Italy

Great location in Rome’s food district but close enough to walk to Rome’s best known sights. Alessio the host was great in helping us check in and gave us alit of info about the neighborhood. The area is very safe but lively. Would definitely stay here again. .

Roman Patio Retreat

Perfect location for exploring Rome. After long days of exploring the apartment was a quiet and comfortable place to retreat. The highlight was the rooftop patio which was beautiful and spacious. The apartment has everything you need for cooking and very comfortable beds. Alessio was very kind and accommodating. Rent this place in Rome! PS coffee place across the street to the left is wonderful. Ciao!

Beautiful apartment

The apartment was cozy. Two bedrooms and a bed under the stairs. There was a great terrace. There was plenty of room for our family. The location was great with plenty of restaurants and shops near by. My only complaint was the five flights of steps to get to the apartment with no elevator.

Absolutely recommend this beautiful property!

Alessio’s Penthouse apartment was exactly as the wonderful reviews we had read said. Same for the beautiful pictures. Clean, big windows, comfortable and furnished with absolutely everything you would need. We spent time relaxing on the roof top patio in the mornings, afternoons and evenings. Truly a dream come true. Alessio is a wonderful host. I truly enjoyed the pride he has for the neighborhood as he walked us through the streets pointing out places of interest. He went over and above from the moment we arrived to the time we left. He’s a beast carrying luggage up and down the stairs. And arranging our transport on our last morning was very much appreciated. His self taught gardening skills shine through on the patio with all the beautiful flowers. We had 4 adults in our party and were more than comfortable. We all agree we would definitely like to stay at this apartment again. Arrivederci till we meet again. Thank you Alessio for a wonderful time in Italy. It was a privilege to finally meet you and we look forward to our next visit to your neighborhood.

Nice apartment with a spectacular terrace

We really enjoyed our stay here for our 7th wedding anniversary. The apartment looked the same as in the photos, including the terrace. It was spectacularly clean. The owner stocks it well with many thoughtful items like a tray specifically for carrying wine bottles up the stairs to the terrace, umbrellas, maps, snd reading books. The air conditioner worked, and so did the washer and American style dryer. Note that there's no elevator in the building and it's on the 4th floor, with another level in the apartment and yet another to the terrace, so you have to be in good shape to get up there. The owner also provided a list of recommendations for groceries, restaurants, and wine & cheese shops. We tried several places and they were all delicious. If we can come back to Rome, we'll stay here again!

Fantastic stay!

The photos just don’t do justice to Allessio’s beautiful place. There was ample space including what my kids called the “Harry Potter” bed that was under the stairs. They fought over it every night. Yes, it’s a 3 floor walk up but then you g er to enjoy the magical rooftop. Totally worth it. The beds were all so comfortable and the windows opened enough to provide fresh air and a view of the town. Alessio sent so much information beforehand that we felt completely prepared. All of his recommendations were perfect. The belay he recommended was the best we’ve ever had. The place was super clean and easy to walk anywhere we needed. We had two kids age 6 and 9, my 69 year old mom and my husband and myself 39/40. Celebrating my 40th bday here was such a treat. We’ll definitely be back!

Great stay!

We had a wonderful stay, great location. Only warning is not to go to restaurant next door. Went there when we couldn't get into another restaurant and boy was it a mistake. None of our group of 4 could eat more than a couple bites. Don't be fooled by ratings or the person making fresh pasta in window its a trap. Highly recommend it for location and rooftop terrace

Welcoming place and host.

The apartment was very clean, and welcoming. Alessio was more than helpful, showing us the neighborhood and places we might need. The beds were very comfortable. It rained the entire time we were there so we were unable to enjoy the rooftop veranda. There are a LOT of stairs, but we are seniors, and traversed them very well.

Perfect place in the perfect location

Awesome stay at the perfect location. This apartment was located in an area surrounded by all the amenities you would need - restaurants, coffee shops and groceries. The space fit our family well. Enjoyed having two bathrooms and the amazing outdoor space on the roof we would relax on each afternoon. Conveniently located, it's a 20-25 minute walk from nearly everything you want to see in Rome, without having to be in the middle of the tourist areas. Would definitely recommend and stay again!!

Trastevere

Alessio’s apartment in Trastevere is beautiful - the kitchen, the balcony, the showers. It’s in a wonderful part of Trastevere - close to everything. We walked everywhere - we also recommend thoroughly exploring the churches. There’s a Bernini sculpture in the Fransisco church down the street. And an easy walk to the Testacchio market - open almost daily. Alessio is absolutely wonderful with everything from our check in to restaurant recommendations to the neighborhood. Next time, we stay a month

Loved the location!

I can’t say enough great things about this property and Alessio! The apartment itself was close enough to all the sites that we walked everywhere, and Trastevere is amazing and felt very safe. We were also off the main areas that it wasn’t noisy. The terrace was such a great perk! Alessio was a great communicator and very helpful! Definitely recommend!

Great location and apartment

The apartment is located in the trendy neighborhood of Trastevere. There are a ton of great restaurants nearby and is not too far from the big Rome sights like the colosseum and the Trevi fountain. You do have to walk up a few flights of stairs to get to the apartment but it’s well worth it for the rooftop terrace. Alessio was a great host and welcomed us in person during check in. Great experience!

Trastevere Amore

Alessio’s surname sums up his personage - an Angel - super host indeed. He relayed an abundant amount of information pre-trip, and many helpful recommendations on the ground. He was direct in his communications and always responded promptly especially when a fellow traveler had a health issue. The small Penthouse apartment, has been smartly restored and is nestled in a gentrifying neighborhood with much culture and color. While not apartment dwellers accustomed to close quarters, we adapted well thanks to the semi-private well-appointed rooftop terrace. Countless hours were spent revisiting daily adventures with drinks on the roof late into the evening. Lest I not forget, shortly after our Penthouse stay began, we were serenaded on the terrace by a neighboring rooftop pianist and his lovely soprano. Bravo on all counts - Thank you, Alessio.

Even if located in the Heart of 'Trastevere' this property is quiet. In fact, this property is located in the more residential part of Trastevere district (close to 'Piazza in Piscinula'). Then, to improve comfort, all windows (even if the narrow street has a very low car traffic) are double glasses provided too.
The Panoramic Roof Terrace has a WONDERFUL View.
