Lagoon Life - private dock and firepit

*There is a 4-night minimum rental requirement from the end of June to Labor Day*

Enjoy all that this charming house has to offer with the lagoon right in your backyard. Lay out on the hammock, chill by the firepit or BBQ on the deck. Have fun on the water with the paddleboards / kayaks or take a bike ride out into the nature preserve. You can also bring your own boat or jet ski right up to the private floating dock. The dock is also a great spot for fishing and crabbing.

The beaches of Long Beach Island (LBI) are a 20-minute ride, or you can take the scenic ferry ride over. There are 6 beach badges for Surf City beach (on LBI) available for your use. They are hanging inside the front door. Note: If you lose a badge, you can replace it at a cost of $55, or it will cost you $80 if we have to replace.

There is only 1 TV in the house.....get out and enjoy life.

So happy to have found this spot! So many thoughtful and welcoming details made this a beautiful place to relax and enjoy. We were so happy to spend time in the luxurious back yard on the water (check out the stars from the deck! ), and we loved visiting the beach-- our host provided everything we needed to enjoy the water. And when the weather kept us inside, we were really grateful for this comfortable and inviting space....we have teens, and it's easy to get in each other's way on vacation, but the home feels so spacious, with plenty of beds to spread out in, comfortable nooks for reading, and big windows looking out over the water. (Kids would like me to add that it's cozy and cute!) We ended up digging into the board games on our last night, and had a great time. We did visit a couple of great restaurants on our stay, but ate most of our meals at home, and the kitchen was a pleasure to cook in. And as a big family, we really appreciated the many bathrooms and convenient laundry. Our host was responsive and reassuring with all of our questions that came up. Truly a lovely stay!

Pleasant area and nice property

My college friend and I stayed for a long weekend. We had a blast crabbing, fishing, and grilling. We also went on some nice hikes at nearby state parks, and enjoyed some local restaurants nearby (I recommend Sunset Seafood, it is BYOB but excellent). This property is modern, spacious, had all the amenities you would hope for in a waterfront house. I would definitely recommend!

Amazing waterfront stay

The pictures don’t do this house justice! I took my 4 kids (12-17) and we were all very comfortable. Fionan was very responsive throughout the booking process and all the way through the trip. A couple things not mentioned and/or not obvious in the listing: There are beach chairs, bikes, paddle boards that have attachable seats so they can be used as kayaks, a hammock, a fire pit and a fire table, great grill, crab traps. Linens and towels (and beach towels) are included. The street was quiet, my kids were safe paddling in the bay, not a lot of boat traffic. WE LOVED IT!

Great Stay!

We had a great experience overall. Fionan let us check in early, which was a great start to the week. House was nicely decorated, super cute fixtures! Rental came with 3 paddle boards we used all week. Kitchen was perfect for entertaining. We ate at Panini Bay one night for dinner, not to far away. Dockside was also a cool little hangout with a bar and a band. Some things to note: if you bring a boat, not much space for the trailer. Unless you park it in driveway and plan to park on street. Beds are a little small and not super comfortable. And the water pressure could use some adjusting. All minor things. Would highly recommend and we’ll be back!

Ultimate vacation house
