Host was a jerk, and getting up to the top to sleep was dangerous

It was alarming right off the bat with the fact that the listing of the place I booked months ago was suddenly off-line, no where to be found. When I requested info to help plan my trip (everything around was booked as my trip was right around the corner), the host was trying to persuade me to just cancel. Obviously not going to happen- also, all I asked for was what the kitchen layout was. It was finally re-confirmed by the host and I requested to be able to drop off my luggage early so I could jump into business and meetings. She said that it was good to go and I could check in whenever I wanted. I got to the place, and there was a lockbox, I went to my emails first, to see if there was check-in info, of which there was absolutely NOTHING... so I went to text the host- who gave me her personal number, I didn't even ask for it, but that's how SHE wanted to communicate. She kept avoiding the request of giving me the code I needed to get into the place and then sent me a text after only two of my messages saying 'STOP TEXTING ME! this is my personal number and I'm in a meeting!!!! Respect my boundaries!' whole interaction was disrepectful but not from me. All she had to do was send a lil 4 digit code... not two novels and then a snappy text. So I just avoided her and her negative self for my entire trip. Now for the UNSAFE part- the way up to the bed on top is absolutely not secure, it's going up a wobbly ladder, and the bed moves so the distance one has to cross to get up-top is scary. I nearly fell twice and I have great balance. I recommend VRBO check on this, and I'll be sending ABNB the same message, as apparently she only uses ABNB now for her bookings. DON'T STAY HERE!!! The lady is toxic and rude and the space can be nice, but her set-up is NOT SAFE!!!! My thought is that if she doesn't do something about making that ascend safer, someone is going to get really hurt and she'll be sued :( not good.
