SEA HEAVEN sits one lot back with only a small fisherman's cottage in front. Beautiful views from both levels and steps to the beach! Our family-friendly beach cottage is located on peaceful Hatteras Island in the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Sip your morning coffee while watching the sunrise from the spacious upper deck or take in the sights & sounds from the lower deck while relaxing in the bubbly hot tub or swinging hammock chairs. Rodanthe is a quiet village on Hatteras Island that will transport you to simpler times.The area attracts nature lovers, fishermen, water sports enthusiasts, star-gazers, sun-bathers, history buffs and anyone seeking to just feel the breeze and be at ease. We welcome you to our little slice of Heaven by the sea! The perfect home base as you explore all Cape Hatteras National Seashore has to offer. Sea Heaven is a smoke-free, pet-free home. 5 bedrooms, 3.5 bath, Sleeps 12.

5 Bedrooms - All linens provided. Beds made upon arrival. All 5 bedrooms and laundry area with full size washer & dryer located on the first level.

Brand new kitchen appliances , refrigerator with ice-maker, 2 large stockpots for seafood boils, crab mallets and picks, roasting pans, crockpot, electric griddle, electric can opener, 4 slice Cuisinart toaster, Cuisinart blender, Cuisinart cutlery, baking sheets, hand mixer, rolling pin, plenty of serving bowls & platters, measuring spoons, measuring cups, cocktail glasses, wine glasses, kid-friendly plates and cups, glass storage containers, tupperware & more!
Coffee bar with Keurig Coffee Maker and 14 cup Coffee Maker, assorted coffee and teas.
Serve dinner at the dining table that can comfortably seat 8 or belly up to the breakfast bar that seats 4.
Wide upper level sundeck! Enjoy dinner or cocktails under the stars on the wide sundeck where you will find a picnic table that seats 6, a bar height table for 2 and 2 Adirondack rockers just for relaxing or stargazing.
Relax in the cozy living area with ocean views, a 60 inch Smart TV with ROKU, an XBOX 360, DVD player and plenty of board games and puzzles for the whole family to enjoy!
***Sea Oats Drive is a private road that leads directly to the beach. It is made of sand and gravel. Depending on weather conditions, it can sometimes by a nuisance to travel due to large puddles and pot holes. We recommend a high clearance vehicle though not necessary.

Welcome Basket - Guests are treated to a welcome basket filled with an assortment of snacks. We also provide assorted coffee and tea for our coffee bar and starter supplies that include dishwashing liquid & dishwasher pods, kitchen sponge and towel set, paper towel roll & laundry detergent pods. in addition, each bathroom will have hand soap, extra toilet paper, trial size shampoo & conditioner.
Beach Gear - Our Guests will have access to 6 Tommy Bahama beach chairs, 2 soft top surf boards, boogie boards, corn hole, sand toys & 3 beach cruisers for exploring the island.
Baby Equipment -Sea Heaven has 1 pack n' play, 1 high chair and 2 booster seats. We recommend reserving additional equipment with Ocean Atlantic Rentals in Avon, NC.

We purchased Sea Heaven in Rodanthe in April 2022 and gave her some much needed TLC. We have ben visiting the Outer Banks for over 30 years. We fell in love with the peaceful, low-key vibe that Hatteras Island offers. We welcome you to our little slice of Heaven by the sea! The perfect home base as you explore all Cape Hatteras National Seashore has to offer!

Sea Heaven is located in peaceful Rodanthe, the first village located on the north end of Hatteras Island, NC. Rodanthe is a quiet village on Hatteras Island that will transport you to simpler times. The area attracts nature lovers, fishermen, water sports enthusiasts, star-gazers, sun-bathers, history buffs and anyone seeking to just feel the breeze and be at ease. Sea Heaven is nestled on a quiet, private road that leads directly to the beach. We are within walking distance to the iconic home featured in the Nights in Rodanthe movie, the Chicamacomico Life Saving Station Museum and the Rodanthe-Waves-Salvo Community Center which recently completed the build of an amazing, brand new pirate ship themed playground and huge skate park for the kids! Rodanthe Harbor is just up the street where you can put in your kayak or paddle board and watch the sunset over the Pamlico Sound.

Our home sits only steps from the beach on a quiet road in the heart of Rodanthe. You can bike and/or walk to the pirate-themed playground, Graveyard Run Skate Park, Rodanthe Surf Shop, Chicamacomico Life Saving Station & the Rodanthe Pier. Upon arrival, you will be greeted with a lovely gift basket. You can unpack & unwind as the beds will already be made. We provide many extras, such as 2 soft top surf boards, 3 beach cruisers, 6 beach chairs, boogie boards and sand toys. As your hosts, we want to make sure that you enjoy your vacation and will always be available to assist during your stay along with our property manager who lives right around the corner.
