Hi Katherine, I’m sorry for the small inconvenience. But we do have house rules and they state that our quiet hours outside start at 9 pm. It would be great to read them prior to booking your stay at our home so you wouldn’t give us a negative review. No one else has ever complained about this, and now we as hosts pay the punishment for something we didn’t do wrong.

We rented Alvin place for my nephew graduation. And it was perfect. He thought of everything. Beds was comfy, pool and spa was exceptionally. We wish we could stay longer. Definitely a house that made our trip.. one negative thing was just the rules about being outside and using outside items before 9pm. We wanted to do a late swim or hang by the fire pit but rules are rules I guess. Great place for the family.

Hi Renee, thank you for your 5 star review. Our quiet hours start after 9 pm. So there were no restrictions before 9 pm. I noticed you mentioned that and I think you meant after 9 pm. We don’t want to disturb our neighbors past 9 pm, as they are sensitive to noise during our quiet hours.

Wonderful stay

Great house for our extended family get together. The home is very clean with ample amenities to meet everyone's needs. Host was very responsive and attentive. Would definitely stay again.

This was a great property for our family gathering. Very kid friendly! The host has gone out of his way to make this a kid’s mecca. The pool, spa and sauna along with the outdoor recreation area and the indoor arcade provided all of our children with an unbelievable vacation experience. Yard games and a beautiful backyard added to the experience. Our gang was in heaven.The house is spacious and well equipped for larger groups. We were a group of thirteen (Adults 40-75 and children 3-15) who prefer cooking our own meals and relaxing at home. Alvin’s home more than accommodated our needs. The kitchen has everything and more…There were many little extras!Alvin was an amazing host! Extremely responsive and timely! This is definitely a property we would return to if visiting San Diego again.

Great Family Stay

The property was great for all ages of our family vacation together. The backyard was like a retreat. The little ones enjoyed the playground, everyone loved the pool, the slide and the hot tub. A few enjoyed the sauna and we made s'mores and enjoyed our time around the

We were a group of 12, age range from 1yrs to 82yrs The house was able to provide fun and space for all our party. The pool area was great to soak up the San Diego sun and enjoy time together. The outside entertaining space was fantastic to have family meals together. The double grill gave us lots of cooking choices. The house had plenty of bath towels and swimming towels available. The host Alvin was very prompt answering any questions or quests we had. I would definitely recommend the property to any large group wanting to spend quality time together in a beautiful home.

We had a 20-person extended family stay at this home. Our host was extremely responsive and helpful. We really enjoyed the outdoor space, including the grill area, pool, fire pit, and playground - just perfect for our getaway. The home was very clean and the beds were comfortable. There is an eat-in kitchen with space for 8 to dine, but no separate indoor dining room, so keep this in mind if you have a large group. There is plenty of space to spread out to eat outside, including a table by the pool.

Family reunion

We had a wonderful stay! The house was absolutely perfect for our family. The ages ranges from 3 - adult and there was something for everyone to enjoy. Alvin was very responsive and very accommodating. We will definitely be back!

Best Place to stay in San Diego!

This place was awesome! So much space in a quiet cul de sac. The pool was awesome for kids! It’s a quick drive to the beach. After a day at the beach we could come home and relax in the pool. The backyard amenities were amazing! Great place to spend time inside or out. We will definitely be staying here again when we come back!

Great property, great host!

Alvin's attention to detail and thoughtfulness throughout the property is amazing. We rented this house for our family summer vacation, and I dare say it's the best vacation home we've stayed at. And to top it off, Alvin made it easy and was very helpful when there were a couple of things we needed to work through.

Beautiful home for a group, great host

We stayed at Alvin's Villa with friends during our spring break college tour (4 families with teenagers). The home is very close to SDSU (about 10 mins), which made it a perfect location to stay. All of the rooms were very spacious, clean and well kept. The back yard is a dream for hanging out, making it truly feel like we were on vacation. Would definitely recommend for a large group traveling in this area.

Terrific Family House

Big family get together for mom/grandma/great grandma’s 98th. Home is in perfect condition, and it’s simply a Mecca for kids. And our host Alvin was extremely responsive. A great weekend!
