Please note we require a 4 night minimum for weekends (2 night minimum stay is fine for weekdays) unless there is a last minute vacancy. We have one week minimums, Saturday - Saturday, June 13 through August 22. Winter Holidays are also one week minimums, Thanksgiving is a 5 night minimum.

Our home is situated just 1 property from Mission Bay, this three story house offers an open floor plan, bay views, two fireplaces, and two view decks with outdoor seating and firetable. The highly desirable North Mission Beach location provides easy access to the ocean, bay, freeways, and a wide variety of shops and restaurants all within a short walk.

Located in North Mission Beach, our home is surrounded by water, with the bay one property east, and the ocean one block west. Our three story house offers ample room and privacy for groups and families, with large areas to gather together, but each floor functions as a private unit, so there are three kitchens and three livings rooms and plenty or room to spread out.

This home is not your typical rental with bare walls and stiff sheets; it welcomes its visitors with all the luxuries and amenities of vacationing within their own home. There are three smart televisions with Netflix subscriptions. Within the dining area there is seating for 10 people at the main table. There is sleeping for 35 people comfortably in the ten bedrooms plus three sleeper sofas and two day beds in the living rooms.

The beautiful view deck has plenty of lounging area to enjoy the beach air and sun. It has a firetable, grill and outdoor dining area for a mid-day lunch or a summer evening BBQ.

North Mission Bay offers a beautiful white sand beach ideal for families with young children. The Mission Bay Aquatic Center is 100 yards away, and has a playground, large grassy area, basketball court, and rentals (paddleboards, kayaks, jetskis, sailboats, water skiing, etc)

On the ocean side, Mission Beach offers aspiring surfers and boogie boarders with a good beach break under the watchful eyes of the lifeguards at the Mission Beach Lifeguard station. Beach-side and Bay-side walk ways offer miles of jogging, biking, walking, or skating pleasure.

Parking at the beach is a rarity and this home comes with 5 private parking spots.

We are right next to the famous Catamaran Hotel. They have a wonderful spa and a great restaurant for brunch.

This location has the perfect mixture of liveliness of nearby Pacific Beach and the quiet escape of the beautiful Mission Bay. This property has many unique details such as two view decks that overlooks the beautiful Mission Bay. There are 5 parking spots, 3 garage spots and two tandem non covered spots. Within 100 feet, the bay offers a leisure and tranquil day of fun in the sun. We are nearby the famous Catamaran hotel and it's lovely spa, and a quick stroll to the Mission Bay Aquatic Center. We are in the perfect mixture of peace and serenity, but with dozens of shops and restaurants within a 5 minutes walk.

The stunning location allows for the enjoyment of Sea World's fire works in the summer as well as the ease and access to all of San Diego’s other beautiful sights and events. Welcome home!

This is a quiet neighborhood and is the perfect getaway for a relaxing vacation with the fun and excitement within reach. Quiet hours are after 10pm in which all must be off the patios with doors and windows closed if the fun is brought inside. Our neighborhood echoes and we respect all of our neighboring tenants. Parties or events of any kind are not allowed. Smoking on the property is prohibited. We have a strict no pet policy.

FAQ

How does check-in work? Is a key exchange necessary?
The front door is coded, a key exchange is not necessary. You can check-in anytime after 3pm.

Do you allow early check-in or late check-out?
We usually will have another group coming or going so we are not able to accommodate an early check-in or a late check-out. You are welcome to swing by early and drop off your bags, but you will not be able to get settled in until the cleaning crew is finished at 3pm. We will usually have an area you can leave bags for a while after checking out as well. Pease contact us for more details

Is smoking allowed on the property?
Smoking is strictly prohibited anywhere on the property, including patios, carports, garages, and garden areas. If smoking occurs on the property, the security deposit will be forfeited. Smoking is also not allowed on the boardwalks or beaches and ticketing is a common occurrence.

Are pets or service animals allowed?
Unfortunately due to our liability insurance coverage and guests’ allergies, we must prohibit any animals on the property.

Are events or parties allowed?
No, we do not allow events or parties of any kind. If a party or event is held on the property, the security deposit will be forfeited and the guests will be evicted.

Do you have a hair dryer?
We do not provide a hair dryer.

What kitchen supplies are provided?
We provide basic cooking supplies, dishware, and utensils. We do not provide any ingredients or perishables. We provide a basic coffee maker and toaster. Guests might leave behind some items like seasonings or cooking oil, but we do not stock these items. We do not provide a blender.

Are plenty of towels and linens provided?
Yes, we provide all of the towels, sheets, comforters, and beach towels you will need.

What bathroom supplies are provided?
We provide toilet paper, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.

Do you provide a Pack ‘n Play or any other toddler supplies?
Yes, we have a Pack ‘n Play you can use, but we do not have a stroller or high chair.

Are there a washer and dryer at the house?
Yes, you have access to a free washer and dryer on the property. Laundry detergent is also provided.

Do you have air conditioning?
We do not have air conditioning; very few homes in the area have air conditioning due to the coastal breeze that keeps the area pretty comfortable year round. Each room has either a ceiling fan or a stand up fan to help with air circulation during the occasional heat wave.

What beach supplies are provided?
We provide boogie boards, sand toys, beach chairs, and beach towels. Some guests might leave behind other supplies like beach umbrellas and sports equipment, but we do not stock these items.

Do you have dependable Wi-Fi?
Yes, we have Wi-Fi throughout the house.

Is the property private? Are there any shared spaces with the other units?
The house is a triplex, and each unit has its own private entry, patio area, BBQ, parking, and beach supplies. The laundry area is shared with the other units.

We ran out of something (toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, soap, detergent, propane, etc), should we call you or go buy more?
Please call us. We stock extra supplies and we are happy to direct you to our backstock if needed.

Where can we park extra cars?
Street parking can become tricky in the summer so always read the signs posted as street sweeping takes place almost every weekday (except Wednesdays) and some areas are limited to 15 minutes, 30 minutes, or 2 hours. Ticketing cars is a frequent occurrence here at the beach so be aware.

How close is the beach?
Mission Beach is a skinny peninsula; both the Bayside and Oceanside have sandy beaches and a lively boardwalk. We are one property away from the bayfront and about 100 yards away from the oceanfront. The bay is calmer with warmer water. The ocean is livelier and has great waves.

Do you provide beach cruisers?
We do not, but there are several bike rental places within walking distance.

Is the noise policy strict?
Yes, we require guests to respect our neigborhood and we enforce appropriate noise levels throughout the day and strict quiet hours after 10pm. If you are bothered by any noise violations while staying with us, do not hesitate to call; we can help by contacting other guests or owners of other properties to notify them that a nuisance is being caused. If a noise disturbance is reported by a neighbor or police are called and a violation is issued, the guest security deposit will be forfeited.

Is the property wheelchair accessible?
This unit on the ground level is wheelchair accessible, however we do not have a wheelchair accessible shower.

Is the house and neighborhood family friendly?
Yes, we are in a very family friendly area. Our house is one property away from the bayfront in a quiet and safe neighborhood.

Do you have dependable Wi-Fi?
Yes, we have Wi-Fi throughout the house.

Do you have a BBQ?
Yes, each unit has it’s own BBQ.
