Avoid crowded resorts and immerse yourself in nature at this private, secluded and peaceful lake cabin. Osprey Lake is a quiet and clear lake that is known for great fishing year round. This cabin’s location is ideal for getting out of town and enjoying nature, yet close enough to enjoy events, restaurants and shopping in Hayward.

This location offers the option to simply relax and watch for loons, otters, hummingbirds, and the occasional black bear, or to be adventurous and paddle through a beautiful channel to Little Round Lake and Round Lake. Guests may use our canoe and kayak complete with paddles and lifejackets with an additional rental fee and signed liability waiver.

Nearby amenities include:
-Trails for snowmobiling, skiing, hiking, mountain biking and ATVs, including the American Birkebeiner trail
-Great local restaurants
-The Sevenwinds Casino just 8 minutes drive away
-The Namekagon River for trout fishing, tubing or paddling
-All the charm Hayward has to offer including shops, restaurants, lumberjack competitions, and museums

If firepit is used, ensure fire is out by saturating with water before leaving unattended. No use of fireworks is allowed at the property.
Noise travels far across the water. Please be quiet after 10pm. Osprey Lake has a no wake ordinance from 6pm to 10am. No wake within 100' of docks.

We had an absolutely beautiful time at your cabin. Everything is exactly as presented communication with Collin was fantastic. I love that he let my dog come. I will definitely be back. Highly recommend.

Beautiful location with clean water and nice variety of wildlife. Definately will consider on future cabin rental. No issues. Only suggestion is to rebuild the dock.

An absolute gem on Osprey Lake. Our 7YR old caught endless fish (bass, perch, pumpkins, sunnies) right off the pier and with Jenks less than 5 minutes way, bait could easily be replenished. Every morning and night the lake calmed enough for easy SUPing and plenty of loon and heron sightings. The perfect set up for a small family looking for ample outdoor time with the usual Hayward to-dos nearby.

Perfect getaway for families! We loved the set up and location. We enjoyed the lake, fishing, and going to town trying out local food. Communication was great. The only downfall was the water. We brought enough water to drink so that was no problem but the water has a strong smell. I took a shower and even though I use scented soap, I still smelled like the water. They should consider treating with water softener to improve that. Despite that one little thing, its still a 5 star stay! We have an amazing time.

We enjoyed the property but it was far less secluded than we expected. The neighbors a couple properties down partied hard ALL day, every day. You couldn't do anything outside without listening to their yelling, loud music, etc. Though we were warned about the water having a high mineral content, it was much worse than expected - everything was stained from the iron; sinks, dishes, toilet, shower, etc. And it definitely wasn't drinkable - 100% bring your own! Overall our stay was nice, the bed was comfortable & the amenities included with the cabin gave us plenty to do.

The cabin is fairly simple on the outside, but quite nice on the inside - convenient with knotty pine woodwork. It sits on a little peninsula with the lake on two sides. The slope down to the water is scattered with various domestic and wild flowers beneath pine. At the end of May, hummingbirds flitted around and frogs croaked from the lagoon behind.

My wife and I just returned from a wonderful week-long vacation at this beautiful cabin on Osprey Lake in Hayward, Wisconsin, and we couldn’t have asked for a better getaway. We brought our two dogs, and they absolutely loved having so much space to explore, swim, and relax outdoors.We enjoyed paddleboarding, kayaking, canoeing, and swimming throughout the week. The cabin itself was clean and comfortable, and the kitchen was well equipped for preparing meals. We also made great use of the outdoor grill, hammock, and fire pit, which made the experience feel like a true vacation.Our host, Collin, was fantastic to work with. Communication was easy, and he was helpful and responsive throughout our stay.We had an amazing time and would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a peaceful, relaxing getaway—especially if you’re traveling with dogs. Five stars all around!

It was a cozy cabin. The woodwork was beautiful. Could use a bigger couch or maybe some comfy chairs and ottomans or recliners for the living room area. Host was prompt to answer any questions. Close to lake. Beautiful scenery. Will stay again.

This was the perfect place for my Dad and I to spend a weekend. Right on the lake, very quiet and peaceful. The home has everything you would need and is super clean and new on the inside. Super close to town and restaurants if you need or want to go into town. Thank you!

This cabin get away was just perfect. We loved the privacy of the property. Every day waking up to the beauty of the lake. The cabin provided us with all the amenities. So close to many restaurants and activities. I would highly recommend it.

Great, cozy cabin!

This place was amazing! My husband and I stayed a few days for our anniversary! Secluded, clean, and overall just a great place to stay!!! Host checked in to make sure everything was going good! Would definitely stay again!!

We fell in love with this area and this lake and property in particular because of it's natural beauty and how quiet it is out here. Collin loves fishing in this lake on peaceful mornings, Miranda loves paddling around the lake, and our daughter loves picking wild raspberries and blueberries, and we all enjoy swimming in the clear water on hot summer days. We also love coming out here in the winter to enjoy the outdoor recreation opportunities including the amazing cross country ski trails as well as just relaxing in the cozy cabin.
