We needed a place at short notice

Place was clean , beds were comfortable, the house was older but it had charm and many amenities. We loved the location- close to downtown Frankfort! Would definitely stay again!

We had a blast in Frankfort!Our rental was clean. The neighborhood was quiet. The location was most excellent for easy access to downtown with lots of places to eat, several local beaches and the Rock Shop at Crystal Gardens. The property manager was prompt and responded to all our questions when we were at the house. Really, the best location!

Yellow Rose

Great place to stay! Everything was as described! Very clean and plenty of room for 6 of us plus our dog. Would definitely stay here again! Frankfort is a gem of a town- Tons of restaurants and the beach is one of the best! 4th of July fireworks is fantastic.

Morgan was great to work with. Property was clean. Its a little off the beaten path but very close to town and the beach (about a mile). The space was a little small for us (6 adults).

Nice Home with AC!

We appreciated the well stocked kitchen and the much needed air conditioning. The beds were comfortable and the home was clean. I also appreciated the ability to rent the home for a long weekend instead of having to book for a full week.

Family Gathering

We have stayed there one other time a few years ago. Kind of difficult to find the drive way in the dark, but house is clean and close to everything in town.

The price was very affordable. The properties surrounding the rental didn’t make me feel very comfortable with how run down they were and unkept. I had to wash two comforters before kids slept in them due to dog hair and sand while also wiping down kitchen table and chairs. The cleanliness was average, but I do have high standards. Walls are very thin so you can hear everything in the next room. WiFi wasn’t great for my son’s iPad, but tv WiFi worked fine. The washer smells like mold too, so I would only use it if needed. I appreciated having towels for showering along with a kitchen drying towel and two washcloths. Overall, the cleanliness and houses surrounding the rental didn’t meet my standards, but I do admit that I had different expectations from the pictures.My family has traveled to the area for many years, and Frankfort is a great place to travel for all ages.

Downtown and wonderful host:)

The house is right downtown and near grocery, restaurants etc. The beds were comfortable and house was clean except for some dog hair still on the floor but it isn't easy to make that all disappear:) Morgan was quick to answer all my questions and I appreciate her allowing my old standard poodle to come on vacation with the family. Neighborhood is quiet. A quick drive to Lake Michigan (can walk if desired).

Cute home!

We enjoyed our short weekend in this home. We didn’t stay in it much, but it was a great location for what we wanted. We kayaked/canoed, went to TC, Sleeping bear dune climb and a dog friendly beach along Lake Michigan. All within a 30-40 min drive. Beautiful location though with a lake close by and nice restaurants all within a mile from the home. The home itself had everything we needed and was in a quiet area.

Great stay in Frankfort, Michigan

7 of us stayed at the Yellow Rose on outskirts of Frankfort, Michigan this past weekend. We love this area and getting to visit is a real gift. The house was nice - clean and provided everything we needed. Neighborhood is just outside of downtown - about a 20-minute walk to shops and restaurants. Back deck is small but nice and we enjoyed the vegetation and tall trees and birdwatching in the morning over coffee. Place is not fancy (nor is neighborhood), but if you are coming for the overall location and not fussy, you'll love it. We'd go back.

Yellow Rose - June 2023

Overall this was a lovely property. The inside was very clean and neat. There are plenty of dishes, utensils and cooking or baking dishes for family dinners. The house is on a large corner lot with a firepit, horseshoes, and corn hole for family fun. The GE Front loader Washer and Dryer looked new and operated easily. The only problem was they were stacked and the dryer settings were very difficult for me to see (I am 5'4"). Also the VRBO add indicated that there was a canoe and kayak on the outside on the property and there was not. They are available to rent locally if needed.

Convenient and Comfortable

Rental was so clean and well set up with everything you'd need! The management company responds quickly. This place is just a short 10-15 minute walk to the beach (take time to see the sun setting on the lake) and just a few steps from the bike path. It is located on a quiet street with quiet neighbors. Numerous restaurants are within walking distance as is a grocery store (Consider stopping at Stormcloud Brewing, Port City Smokehouse, Dinghy's, Dos Arboles, L'chayim Deli, and Crescent Bakery - along with places to stop for fudge and ice cream). The beds are comfortable and there are great features like built-in charging ports in the bedside lamps. Light switches are labeled so there is no confusion. A very handy visitor's guide with extensive photographs clearly lets you know where things are in the house and how to use the TV, remote, etc. This is a great space for couples or for a family. Nice deck with picnic table and a large yard with space to build a fire and play games.

This place is the cutest cottage. Clean and little toothbrushes for guest. It was perfect because we had a wedding we had to work so this was great location and nicely surprised how clean and comfy it was!
