If you’re going to a wedding at Camp Pointe this is your place!

We had to get ready for a 2:00 wedding & the host was so accommodating & let us check in early. Upon arrival the house smelled fresh & was spotless! Fresh towels & robes in the bathrooms along with shampoo & conditioner. They thought of everything you could possibly need! Loved the coffee bar!

Wanna go again!

This is a great property out in the country, quiet snd with starry nights. If you like hot beverages, all bases are covered with their hot drink station. Everything you need for a nice, comfortable getaway is at the Getaway.

short but sweet

Although we were in town for only one night for a wedding, the house made for a perfect meeting place and a place to watch the many deer in the yard! Owner helped us by letting us in early to get ready for the wedding, considering they had the house occupied the night before.

Above and beyond expectation!!!

Such a beautiful, classy, clean and comfortable home. Everything we needed was in this home. The peaceful back (and) front lawn was a perfect place to unwind. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this beautiful home to anyone looking for a lovely getaway. The Futhey family

Family Reunion

The house was easy to find and was in quiet farm area. All of our family wasn't able to attend at the last minute but the house was large enough, that if everyone that was planning to come had, we would have plenty of room. When we need a place again we will definitely try to obtain this house.

A Comfortable Stay

I came with dogs to a rural place so they could run around while my own house on VRBO was being rented instead of keeping them in the kennel. There were a lot of grassy areas and woods with a pond and paths alongside cornfields to explore. Unfortunately, it was a corner lot close to 2 streets and there were several cars a day going fast and one without a stop sign, so I was very worried and was shouting a lot. If it weren’t for that, it would’ve been perfect because the house inside was comfortable and so was the bed, there were different rooms I could watch TV in. the air-conditioning worked great and so did the internet. The house was modern and definitely worth the money!

Cleanliness and bug issues. A TV said to be a smart TV but no wifi so just local channels. Communicated with hosts about issues.

Quiet getaway

The place is away from other places which we love. It was beautifully renovated inside. Many amenities were thought of. Owners were very responsive when messaged. Would definitely stay again.

Clean and comfy!

Perfect home for our needs! Things were clean and there was everything we needed. Appreciate white sheets and towels so everything feels clean. We will definitely stay again when we need housing in this area.

Great Peaceful space

Great house! We stayed here for a weekend for my daughters wedding at Lakeview Wedding Venue. Its about a 13 minute drive, so this house was perfect location with all the driving back and forth all weekend. Wish we had more time in this house. Cute coffee bar with cute little game room! Thanks for having us.

The GetAway

I wished our visit would have been under better circumstances and not due to a death in the family. Overall, though the wildlife, the serenity and peaceful atmosphere made it perfect for gathering of family to reminisce of old times and visit.

Perfect anniversary getaway

Beautiful home with everything you need for your stay. Plenty of room for a family. We saw lots of deer and beautiful birds. Host was very responsive to questions.

Randy & Marcy Phillips have lived next door for 16 years & when the opportunity came up to purchase this property, they knew they had to do it!
Marcy works in Quincy as a survey technician for an architectural firm & is an avid bird watcher/lover, in fact, she runs the Adams County Birders Facebook page.
Randy has been a multimedia producer for over 40 years, directing newscasts at a local TV station, then out on his own operating a video production company. He also is a commercial pilot & certified flight instructor who owns an antique Stinson Voyager aircraft(he'll be happy to show you a picture & talk your ear off about it!).
Together, they have turned a diamond in the rough, into a jewel of a home that you'll love staying in.

Relaxation is the key word to describe, The Getaway. The property is 1.5 miles from the main highway, so traffic is VERY light down the paved, blacktop road. Comfort & convenience are also plentiful here as well.
If you want to dine out, there's several restaurants close by, and dozens within 20-25 minutes as well as wineries, an excellent golf course & lots of historic attractions. If you want to stay in, our fully equipped kitchen is ready & at your disposal.
There's also a bbq grill outside & the "clubhouse" (garage) is a nice spot to hang out in the evening with a few beverages while you watch the sunset.

3 full bedrooms along with a fold down couch makes for plenty of sleeping accommodations. We can even supply you with an air mattress if you desire. The upstairs bathroom has a jacuzzi tub & we even have a small office area if you just HAVE to get some work done.
