You are at the heart of Zona Dorada (Golden Zone), center of Mid-town Playa del Carmen. 38th St is the most beautiful street in PdC with so many great restaurants and mini cenotes intermingling. With the upscale grocery store, Selecto Chedraui, next door (open until 11PM), all your needs and late-night foods and drinks are at your fingertip. Only less than 50 steps from IPANA, you don’t even need to cross the street, and for sure there will be no need for taxi while lugging your groceries. IPANA complex has 4 receiption desks, Business Center, Gym, Spa, Kids club, 4 pools, including a semi-Olympic size, Sport bar, Locker rooms, Steam rooms, Game room, Fast WiFi, Concierge service, Security around the clock, Wonderful outdoor landscapes for occupants only, Handicap-friendly, Secure parking. Elevators can take you straight from underground parking to your door, as well as rooftop amenities. A side note: we are the first one with wheel chair; the staffs quickly built a ramp within 3 days after our request. Wonderful staffs.
Every day you wake up feeling the ocean breeze, enjoying rising sun over the ocean from the wide-open living room glass door while sipping your favorite drink or practicing the Sun Salutation Yoga sequence. On a lazy day, you can watch the cruise ships leaving Cozumel Island from your balcony, living room or bedroom. You will not see any neighbor from your home away from home. You can gaze rising moon over your balcony or spend a late-night strolling around IPANA ground or rooftop poolside. It is so romantic, private and safe. There are so many secluded locations for tranquility, reflection, meditation or private conversation. The white sand Caribbean beach is only 3 minutes walking away. If shopping, partying, socializing, dancing, coffee sipping, gourmet dining, cheap eating, people watching, street artist performing, and many other ings are your things then Quinta Avenida (5th Ave.), that stretches over 40 blocks, is only 2 minutes walk away. You can even see it from your balcony.
There are days that you may not feel like fighting the crowd then 4 rooftop azul swimming pools are your reclusive oases. (2 elevators are 5-step away, pools and bar are 1 level up). This does not mean you must be starved since poolside cafe and bar are available. Prices are extremely reasonable as well as dish varieties. Also, a very popular Mediterranean restaurant is downstairs, and Chedraui's pizzeria/sandwich counter is about 50 steps away. Super fast WiFi internet is available throughout the building as well as private network in your unit. Pool table and ping pong are in the game room. Gym room is for those who always desire to keep in shape even on a vacation.
Beyond PdC, there are even more things to do like visiting multiple theme parks: Xcaret, Xel-Ha, Xplorer, several Mayans Ruins, Zip lining, swimming in many Cenotes, Deep sea fishing, Sailing, Parasailing, Snorkeling, Scuba diving. You can take 45-minutes ferry ride to Cozumel Island where you can explore unspoiled natural sea shores and light house. Cancun, Isla Mujeres, Tulum and many small fishing villages in between, together will keep you’re here for a few months.
The trip to ADO bus station downtown takes only 30 minutes walking or hailing a taxi directly outside of your lobby (only about $4 USD). From there, the trip to CUN airport takes 45 minutes and cost about $11 USD (as of 2022). For faster service, taxi can be summoned to your building lobby at a cost of about $50 USD. Your vehicle is kept in free, secured, controlled access, underground parking that will keep your mind at ease. For environment conscious guests, EV charging station is at the complex entrance.
The rental rate includes electrical usage of 20 kwh/day which should cover your needs. Extra kwh’s will be billed at check out. The buildings are well insulated, conforming to modern efficiency, and the ocean breeze will keep electrical usage fairly low.
