Fabulous Saint-Germain des Pres! This apartment is incredibly located in the heart of the stunning Saint-Germain, corner of rue Guenegaud and rue Mazarine. One street away from the bank, five minute walking from pont des arts, le louvre, etc.

Located to the first floor with elevator on the yard, this apartment is completely silent and quiet. You don't even hear any cars from the Rue Guenegaud with windows completely opened. Rare in Paris. Unic privilege in that area, there is a private terrace balcony to appreciate the sky during the sweet days on a easy chair.

The apartment is a studio completely renovated with taste and luxe. A nest of elegance. All the amenities imaginable are provided: Fully kitchen, dishwasher, washing machine, TV cable, Internet high speed unlimited and permanent FREE! Linens, towels and all the soap products for the bathroom and the machines are provided.

Nice Apartment and Perfect Location

To start off, our Host, Thierry, provided excellent information well before we arrived. Thierry answered all of our questions and gave very detailed directions as well as information on arriving at airport and taking a Taxi to Paris. Check in process was easy. Apartment was clean and the perfect location in central Paris. For anyone who loves art, there are several galleries in this area. It was inspiring to visit all the local galleries. I would definitely recommend this Apartment and any property that Thierry Hosts!

Perfect location !

If you want to be able to walk in one of the loveliest and most well situated neighborhoods in Paris - here’s your place. Go right across the Pont Neuf to the Louvre, saunter five, ten, fifteen minutes in any direction to view art, eat at wonderful restos - of all levels and cuisines - easily get supplies…shop at nifty boutiques… Thierry was the perfect host: welcoming, thoughtful, responsible… The studio is outfitted w the needs of a traveler who enjoys preparing meals. It is small - really best for a single person (unless a couple is used to living in extremely small quarters). The neighborhood is safe - that’s a definite plus - with easy access to buses and trains. Thank you Thierry for your hospitality.

Cozy place in the middle of the action

The arrival was flawless, with Thierry giving precise and accurate directions for entering the property. The elevator worked quite well for us. The apartment was clean and well appointed. Checkout was equally easy. Thierry is a master of communications, always answering and offering assistance unlike any host we have ever experienced.

The location cannot be beat. Within walking distance of many museums and sites. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet at night. Highly recommend and would return here next time in Paris.

Best location at a great price

My daughter and I shared a long vacation using this apartment, and it worked out very well for us. Thierry was very responsive and helpful in all our communications. The bed could use firmer pillows for sleeping (and more of them too, since the bed is also substituting for a sofa in the room layout). I couldn’t ask for a better location; many nearby restaurants too. I would happily stay there again.

Lovely Vintage-style Pied-a-terre

Terry was an excellent host, super-responsive. The courtyard was a bit noisy while I was there, but it turned out a lot of it was unexpected renovations in another apartment, and Terry was good about checking on it. @Terry - it might be helpful to have a list of which channels the TV has :) Maybe there's one there, but I seemed to always pick the ones on the TVGuide that were not subscribed :). Overall, super-convenient, great place to stay.

Home away from home

Left bank location, short walk to the Siene River and easy walking distance to many sites. Apartment is clean, secure and safe. Our host, Thierry came by shortly after our arrival to make sure all was well. Highly recommend!

Perfect Location and Great Host

We spent 6 nights at Thierry's Saint Germain studio and the location is perfect for walking to nearly everything in the city center, many museums, restaurants, and shops. There are plenty of convenient transit options as well. The apartment is secure and Thierry provided easy entry instructions and checked in after we arrived to see if we needed anything or had questions. The apartment is small, appropriate for 1 person or 2 people who can share a bed. If you have realistic expectations of central Paris apartments, this is a great option. Almost all showers are very small in the lovely older buildings and hotels. If that won't work for you, look for a place that specifically offers a larger shower. Pros: Location! Safety, no street noise, washer/dryer (such a luxury!), coffeemaker with pods provided, elevator (so you don't have to drag your bags up a winding narrow stairway), kitchenette, good communication from host. Cons: We found it very warm with the radiator heater that we couldn't adjust and had to open the windows to sleep at night, but we prefer a cooler sleeping temperature. The towels could use a refresh and some additional blanket options would have been nice. The shared wall is very thin and we could clearly hear the neighbors on occasion, but it wasn't a huge issue.

Great Location

Bathroom was clean, nice and shower had great water pressure. Kitchenette was nice and appreciated the stocked nespresso machine. Perfect studio for our stay.

Enjoyable first visit to Paris

The apartment is small, but adequate for two people. The location is within walking distance to Notre Dame, the Louvre, and other tourist attractions. Easy access to a couple of metro stops from which you can get anywhere in town.

Perfect in Paris!

Our stay was amazing! The apartment had everything we needed, felt spacious/comfortable and was so close to everything. Took the train from the airport and was easy to find. Would definitely stay here again!

Well located apartment and quiet

We did expect a small apartment which this is. The bed, although comfortable, was a double which proved challenging. Never did get the television to work but the room was clean with plenty of storage space. We chose this flat because of proximity to family so it was fine for a week. It would’ve been nice if the owner had shown up to explain a few things but that didn’t happen

Fantastic!

Communication was great and very easy to follow. We had no issues getting into the place and it was perfect for what we needed. It can get a little loud at night, but it didn’t bother us and if you have the windows closed you don’t hear it at all. We made friends with the Le Balto staff where we had a nightcap each night and having a small grocery store near by was perfect. Great food options in the area too. We will definitely be back!

Great place!

This apartment is in our favorite Left Bank neighborhood! Everything is right outside your door. The apartment is very small but very clean and it was a very good value. We will be back!

Lovely apartment

Thierry was so communicative! He explained everything so clearly. The location really can’t be beat, with amazing cafes in such short walking distance. The apartment was perfect, the outdoor space was lovely to sit in for my morning coffee, and it has everything one might need for a lengthy stay in Paris. Thank you, Thierry!

Quiet and great location

Perfect Place for Paris

We had a wonderful week in Paris staying here. The room was as advertised: Not luxurious but very clean and comfortable. The location is perfect for seeing a majority of the sights. We walked to the Louvre, Musee de D'Orsay, L'Orangerie, Saint Chapelle, and the Conciergerie. We had a short walk to the Metro to take the train to Versailles. The area has many fine restaurants as close as a short block away. There is a small grocery store around the corner. Thierry was an excellent host. His instructions were easy to follow. WHEN we come back to Paris we will book here.

Great location, bargain & accommodations.

Thierry was very accommodating and the coded key entry made check-in & out very easy. It was like a small hotel room with kitchen equipment & large windows opening to a small patio. Must get TV instructions from Thierry - do not follow instructions posted on wall. TV & wi-fi worked great. Two blocks from Rue St. Andre des Arts & Rue Buci with tons of cafes & eating accommodations, open fruit market & grocery store as well as clothing & shoe stores & souvenir shops. Three blocks from the Odeon metro stop for 2 major lines - Nos. 4 & 10, plus easy strolling along Bvd. St. Germain or up to the river or towards Bvd. St Michel & tons of inexpensive restaurants on rue de la Huchette. Been to Paris a number of times & this is worth a return visit.

This apartment has my heart!

Words cannot describe how sad I was to leave this apartment. I called it home for 2 weeks while staying abroad and it was so much more than I ever imagined it could be. I always felt safe, it had every amenity that I needed and Thierry was available for any questions I needed answered. It is about a 10 minute walk from the Notre Dame Metro and about 5 from the Odeon area. The apartment itself is very quite for sleeping but close to cafe's and shopping. Perfect for 1-2 people and the price can't be beat. I cannot wait to go back!

Christmas in Paris

The apartment was lovely and well-provisioned. It was safe, quiet and in the heart of the museum area we intended to visit. It met all our needs with exception of internet connection. We were never able to use our ipad, iphone, or mac-air laptop to research travel, pre-buy museum tickets, check museum times of operation and so on. But we adjusted to that but it would have saved us the time spent in standing in long lines. I would recommend this apartment. Thierry was approachable and a good resource but was unable to assist with the internet problem.
