This unique place has a style all its own. Comfortable , cozy 2 bedroom Apartment , near vivid tourist area in Bugibba , St. Pauls Bay , close to shops , restaurants

- Apartment consists of hallway which leads to first master bedroom w/ double bed , second room with 2 single beds. Bathroom w/ shower, toilet it's on the right side in the hallway. Open plan kitchen combined w/ living room. From kitchen can enter on the balcony where can enjoy in early morning coffee

- Apartment is fully equipped : 3 Air Condition, gas cooker , electric oven , microwave , coffee maker , fridge & freezer , hair dryer and TV

- Wi fi is available and free of charge. Other necessities like Bath towels, Bed sheets are also supplied for your comfort.

The unit smelt like sewage even with the toilet lids down and doors closed. An offer was made to add more silicon to the windows to help with smell, we declined as we hoped it would improve if we kept everything shut. We did get an extra pillow when asked for and help turning on oven and gas top. Some of the pictures shown were different especially in bathroom and bedding. Bathroom dated, shower screen, siliconed to the max, mouldy and still leaking. Hot is cold and cold is hot. Beds were too hard, one bed creaked and sank in the middle, my son and his partner paid to move to a better place as they could not sleep and woke up with neck and back pain. TV had black lines down the centre and when communicated with owner, no response. Air cons set to a set temperature so either too cold or hot. Does not fit 6 people as suggested, as one on fold down tiny couch and other on fold out bed. No instructions on how to work appliances, emergency numbers or helpful information for visitors. Framing around doors were coming off, key into building and apartment were tricky to use. If you lock the bathroom door, it is tricky to unlock. In regards to location it was good, once you got your bearings. The apartment needs some TLC and it would have been great. Having a lift was helpful with baggage.

Cozy Apartment St. Paul's Bay. Malta

The apartment had all the facilities needed to make a self-catering holiday easy. We used it as a base to explore the Island. Bus travel is cheap, and the bus station is nearby.We found a great local pub with friendly people. We stayed there for a month and intend to go back.

Home away from home

After a shaky start due to some lack of information, everything worked out very well. Flat was comfortable and ideally located in Qawra for restaurants, shops and seafront. Ample street parking was available.

Great stay in Malta - March 2023

Milena the host sent us photographs to help us identify the building and the place where we would find the keys. Flat is on first floor with a balcony, clean and comfortable. It's a short walk from the bus station and the aquarium. Any number of small food shops nearby. We found it to be a great base from which to explore. If we had a query we contacted Milena via vrbo and received swift responses. Cannot recommend it highly enough.

The place was in a rundown section of Bugibba The unit was in need of quite a bit of repairs and maintenance. Both keys to the front entrance were extremely hard to unlock the door The bathroom door had No bottom guide and was flapping The wardrobe in the bedroom was coming apart at the back The shower head was not fitted properly and fell off on a few occasions The balcony door was extremely heavy and not on its runner The fly wire door had no guide or runner Quite a few tiles were cracked and loose Mould was growing above the shower as there was no ventilation

Location was generally quiet but busy with traffic during school times. It would be difficult to park a car from late afternoon. Supermarket was nearby, close to beach, restaurants and bus station.The apartment was not as good as photos on the website. Different beds and Sofa, no table on the balcony and no hot tub which was stated in the description.The apartment is clearly not checked in between lettings as the hairdryer was broken, there were no adaptors for the European bedside lights, the mugs were cracked and chipped, there was no underneath net in some windows. There was only enough crockery and glasses for 3 people. TV didn’t work and there were no remote controllers for the A/C and the switch to one unit was 8ft off the ground.After contacting the host the hairdryer and light adaptors were replaced the next day. The host said she would repair the TV but she never did.The apartment would be really good if there was routine maintenance carried out and some additional items added such as towel rails and hooks in bathrooms and bedrooms.
