Perfect two family cabin!

The Cedar Chalet was perfect for us! We had two families, and everything was perfectly cozy! Nice, clean and easy to access all of Tahoe’s fun spots! We look forward to coming back soon!

Great location!

My family of six people stayed here in September, 2023. The location was perfect (easy drive to Kings Beach), and we also drove down the coast to South Lake Tahoe within an hour drive--hitting a few towns/scenes along the way. The house was clean and well stocked with the cooking/comforts we needed. Would stay here again if our travels take us back to North Lake Tahoe

Great place!

Awesome and modern property that’s well stocked with everything you need for a Tahoe vacation. Upstairs rooms are spacious and downstairs rooms are nice too. One downside is the road up to the house isn’t a high priority to get plowed and was only plowed part-way so high probability you’ll get stuck or snowed in if there’s a freak storm. But that will be a rarity! Beyond that, great location. Would recommend!

Beautiful home. Very quiet neighborhood, and if you squint between the trees you can even see Lake Tahoe. Home was as described, though as other reviewers have pointed out the upstairs insulation leaves a little bit to be desired. I stayed in the winter and this wasn't an issue because the host provided space heaters for each bedroom, but I would probably not want to sleep upstairs if visiting during a heat wave.

The location was great! Close to a TRT trailhead for hiking, close to beach access. The restaurants nearby are really good. I liked how close it was to a Safeway. There were plenty of cooking utensils and dishes for our thanksgiving dinnerMy only issue was that the upstairs was freezing cold. The heater seemed to work on the main level, but was not flowing upstairs. Additionally, in one of the bedrooms upstairs the overhead fan would not turn off unless the lights were also off. We couldn’t find a switch to just turn the fan off.Unfortunately we didn’t get a chance to ski. There was very little now on the mountains this year during thanksgiving.

Thanks for the review. Glad the location worked well for you — the trailhead, beach access, nearby restaurants, and Safeway are great conveniences, and I’m happy the kitchen had what you needed for Thanksgiving. I’m sorry the upstairs was cold and that the bedroom fan wouldn’t turn off independently. I’ve passed this along to our maintenance team so they can check the upstairs heating airflow/zone controls and address the fan switch. Sorry you didn’t get to ski this trip — hopefully better snow next time. We appreciate your feedback and hope to host you again.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We sincerely apologize that your experience did not meet your expectations. We take guest concerns very seriously and are committed to providing clear communication and a high-quality stay. Regarding the lockbox information, we want to clarify that all details were sent in advance via email. Unfortunately, it seems these messages were missed, and the phone number provided was an international number, which made direct communication difficult. Once we were made aware of the situation, we promptly provided the necessary access information. We truly regret any inconvenience this caused and appreciate your feedback, as it helps us improve our processes for future guests.
