We had the best mini getaway at the Lake House! We soaked in the hot tub, cooked meals on the fire pit and ate alfresco at the picnic and fire pit area. We enjoyed gorgeous sunrises over the lake.Such a quiet, peaceful, relaxing place for the reset we all needed.

We had the best time at this property! What a beautiful gem! They had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend! Comfy beds, awesome hot tub and the most amazing lake view. Great mini vacay!

This cabin was just what our family needed to get away for a few days. Not far from Garden of the Gods, horseback riding, Paducah, and Metropolis. A very relaxing time!

We had a great time and also managed to keep a teenager entertained! The bonus of the included wi-fi helped with that. Love all the wild life. The flock of geese likes this property and they will probably be in the yard each morning. Would suggest to any nature lovers.

Relaxing Stay

Great spot on the lake. My partner and I visited Brookport last year and decided to bring family this year so we decided to rent this bigger cabin. No issues at all with the stay and had everything we needed.

Very quiet & peaceful

We really enjoyed how quiet it was. The lake was beautiful. If you’re looking for a peaceful relaxing getaway…….. this is it. Would definitely recommend this property.

Everything was nice except the Internet never worked. Password and user ID never worked or showed up. To the point that we were there for a wedding and we couldn’t even talk to my son. To coordinate with him on important things for the wedding.We had to get on some open Internet that would go in and out.

Lake Hohman “Home Away from Home”

We loved our stay with our grandkids at the Hohman Lake cabin - the house was very clean & well stocked with everything we needed. We thoroughly enjoyed fishing & swimming in the lake, the wonderful screened in porches & the hot tub! We have stayed at other places in the area & this is our favorite so far - hope to come back! 😊

Perfect lake house getaway!

The house was perfect, very clean and had everything we needed. The lake was so peaceful and we enjoyed hanging out on the screened in porch. The hot tub was great after long hikes at several of the nearby state parks. Highly recommend this property and I hope to be back again soon!
