Pretty amazing what they done with this church, making it into a livable space. Very cool. And it’s HUGE. Plenty of room. Great spots for photo shoots. It was an unusually hot summer for Minneapolis. The air conditioning in the bedrooms was insufficient. There were box fans that made the stay tolerable. I was very close to purchasing window unit air conditioners and just leaving them there for the next guests because man it was too hot! Other than that this place is top notch.

Such a cool place to stay! Our family of six shared this space with my parents while in town for my brother’s wedding. There was plenty of space for all of us, it was clean, the kitchen was well stocked, the bathrooms were nicely updated, and overall well cared for. Management was warm and responsive to our questions. Definitely recommend! We loved it.

Awesome stay!

This was my first experience using VRBO and everything was extremely easy to navigate and the location was awesome. Parking on the street was plentiful, tons of space inside, and very clean and comfortable. Definitely would recommend!

Absolute Gem

This was a truly special place for a family gathering. Once we got past our initial ooohs and aaaahs about of the space, we settled in and found the place sparkling clean, well equipped, and full of thoughtful touches. Highly recommended.

My family stayed here for the July 4th weekend. We were in town to see a Twins game and explore Minneapolis. This place was awesome! The kitchen is great and has everything you need to cook a meal. The neighborhood was quiet. We found the location centrally located for our needs. Easy drive to downtown. Beds are comfortable and lived watching TV in the alter living room. Tons of space.

Fun, unique, and very large rental

We rented this spot because we did not want to leave the building for three days. We had 84 - 21 year olds and we all had something to do at all times. It is very well appointed with lots of little sitting areas. We cooked all of our meals and watched a lot of college football. Very nice place - exactly as described.

Unique, comfortable, cozy

I stayed at the church with two of my work colleagues for work we were doing in Minneapolis. To be honest I didn't know what to expect, it being a church, but I was pleasantly surprised. This ended up being one of the best choices we've made as far as lodging. The church is spacious and cozy at the same time. The drive into the city was barely more than 10 minutes. It has me thinking I'd like to come back and do some relaxing in the area just so I can stay at the church again.

Surprise 50th birthday

My husband and I traveled from Alaska My son and wife from Maine Grandson from LA My sons high school buddy from Ohio It was my sons 50th birthday. He’s a lifelong Vikings fan. So we went to the game. The place was perfect for us. The place is amazing, the atmosphere perfect. The furnishings spectacular. Clean, spacious. The whole setting was great. Loved it!

The pictures dont tell the whole story.

I had high expectations for this property, but it turned out to be a major letdown. We originally booked to stay at the church, drawn by its historical charm and beautiful aesthetics. However, we were forced to relocate. First and foremost, the listing was incredibly misleading. Nowhere did it mention the steep, narrow stairs that lead to all essential rooms downstairs. If you're expecting a relaxing, accessible stay, think again. If we had known about this, we would have never booked here, as it was extremely difficult to navigate, especially with luggage. It’s baffling how the owner didn’t think to include a simple photo of these stairs in the listing. This critical oversight is deceptive and leaves guests feeling blindsided. Furthermore, the layout is absurd and completely impractical. The sacristy area has plenty of space, yet there is no elevator. It’s 2024, and basic accessibility should be standard. This property isn’t suitable for elderly guests, families with young children, or anyone with mobility issues. In summary, if you’re looking for a stay that matches the description, look elsewhere. This property needs major updates and a more honest approach to its listing. Save your money and book a stay where the host actually cares about providing a comfortable, accessible experience. The only redeeming factor was the beautiful wood work and historical aspect but that’s not enough to make up for the multitude of issues we faced.

This home, originally a church dating back to 1886, has a unique layout w/the sanctuary as an entertainment space & a renovated living area on the LL. There are 2 sets of stairs, incl the main entry stairs, that are wide and unobstructed. There is no elevator due to the bldgs historic nature. Since photos may not capture every detail, we're always happy to provide addl info & it does appear that we made a point to confirm with you that the home is not ADA accessible, when asked prior to your booking. That said, your suggestion to include stairwell photos is well taken. We'll review our listing to ensure it accurately conveys the home's details. While this home’s historical charm & uniqueness may not meet all mobility needs, we regret that it caused challenges for you. Your feedback will be shared & enhancements considered that could improve the experience for all guests. Thank you again!
