About The Owner

We met, fell in love and got married in St. Augustine, Florida, while Trish was attending Flagler College. The historic flavor, glorious weather, new discoveries and endless fun led us to create our Sea Salt Sanctuary beach house in this wonderful location. Truly one of America's best kept secrets, the City of Refuge will become a favorite destination for all who make the journey to this pristine place. Scott's passion as a Filmmaker and Trish's passions as a Professional Chef and Holy Yoga Instructor mean that Los Angeles, California is where we reside during much of the year. Yet, we never miss an opportunity to escape to our peaceful home in St. Augustine Beach. We hope you will enjoy our Sea Salt Sanctuary, surrounded by those you love, and will truly discover your very own fountain of youth! Mark 9:50. May God Bless You. ~Scott & Trish

Why The Owner chose Florida North East

Sea Salt is truly a unique Sanctuary where we love to enjoy a balance of fun adventures with restful days and a peaceful night's sleep! The romance of our luxuriously appointed beach house draws us in to lounge and linger, while the best kept secret beach lures us steps away to soft sand, beautiful walks, and the healing air and salty sea.

Farmer's and Artisan market every Wednesday at the Pier and every Saturday at the Amphitheatre. Free summer concerts Wednesdays at the Pier and Thursdays on the Downtown Plaza. Year round splash at the Sprinkler Park at the Pier. Just a Short Drive to the World Golf Village. Take a Fun Family Day Trip to Walt Disney World, Sea World or Universal Studios.

Amazing property

  • 5 of 5

Bring your swimming suit, but everything else you need for a day at the beach comes with this lovely home. Yep it's true, all of the beach toys and amenities for a fun day at the beach are included and ready for your use. Sea Salt Sanctuary is a lovely home and provided a perfect setting for our family vacation. After a day in the sun or exploring all there is to see in the area, we would hang out on the really comfy couch and watch a movie or just enjoy some family time. Being so close to the beach made it easy to get there anytime we wanted a quick splash in the waves. There is really not much I can add to the wonderful reviews already written by others but if you are going to St. Augustine Beach and want the perfect home for your stay Sea Salt Sanctuary is the answer. You'll find that the owners have put a lot of thought into what you need for a day at the beach and are quick to answer your questions should anything come to mind. We hope to return to the area and would definitely stay here again.

Stay here.

We chose this home mostly because of all the toys noted in the listing for our use. We usually like to rent kayaks and bikes so figured this would be a great way to save money. Boy did we score. I have never seen a home- rental or not- so stocked to the nines with anything and everything that you could need at the beach. Standup paddle boards, kayaks, beach chairs, sand toys...and the inside of the home left nothing wanting either. Only the highest quality of everything. My family was amazed and I got to be the hero of the hour for finding such a place. The location was awesome, easy walk to the beach and lots of places to grab a bite close by. Coffee shop on the corner, Kookaburra down the street was a new spot for us this time around- super cute coffee shop with Aussie pies. Returned to our fave Beachcomber which is super close walking distance on A St -kids can play in the sand while you enjoy a beer or lunch by the beach. (*tip: hitch a free ride with Ron to Salt Life Food Shack across from the pier. This was a super fun discovery...just call the restaurant and he'll pick you up within minutes)

If not already evident, the owners of the home are clearly awesome people to have put such care into their home for the enjoyment of their guests. (Did I even mention how beautifully decorated inside and out with high quality couches and beds/mattresses? There were even bath robes and slippers awaiting us in the closets! ) Trish was very responsive and accommodating. We will surely be returning and recommending this home to all of our family and friends. Thank you for such a lovely vacation!!!

Terrific Beach House!

  • 5 of 5

This place was great in every way! The location is ideal for both a quick walk or ride on the beach, or to carry everything for a day at the beach. And it is close enough that whenever someone has too much sun, they can head back to the house on their own.

The house comes with everything you could possibly need - I read it in the description and was doubtful, but it's true - beach towels, beach toys, umbrella, rolling cart for chairs & cooler - literally everything you could think of. We brought a few things with us 'just in case' and it all stayed in the garage the whole week. Didn't need any of it. We especially enjoyed the bikes! They were nice to ride on the beach, and the house is in a nice neighborhood to ride as well.

The house was just right for 4 adults (16 & 21 yr old girls & parents). There was enough room to not be right on top of each other, and the furniture is very comfortable to hang out together. Best part is the covered porch in the backyard. We go to Florida to be outside, and it's so great to be able to sit outside without feeling like you're on the surface of the sun. Beware the mosquitos though! We had intermittent rain the whole week and whenever the rain stopped, the bugs swarmed! We did bring bug spray with us, which is the only thing the house didn't have. As long as you were sprayed, you could sit out there all evening. And sitting out there during the rainstorms was great! Every part of our week was enjoyable.

I just can't say enough positive things about this place! And the owners were great to work with. We will definitely return!

Can't wait to go back!!

All I can say is WOW!

First of all, the house is adorable! And beautifully decorated! The kitchen was fully stocked with all the goodies u could imagine. The bedding was oh so comfy! The towels were yummy!

Secondly, you just need to show up w your clothing! All the beach toys u could possibly ask for, and then some! And all in mint condition. We thoroughly enjoyed the bikes.

Third, the location!!! In three mins you're at the beach! Perfect location!

We will definitely make this our place to stay in St.Augustine for every time we go back.

Very comfortable, close to beach and downtown St. Augustine.

  • 5 of 5

The Sea Salt Sanctuary was a very comfortable get away for my husband, me and our two daughters after a few days in Orlando. It was very clean and had all of the amenities we needed, including robes, beach towels, and beach toys. We utilized the great kitchen and laundry as well. We didn't get to enjoy the backyard as much but it is beautifully and comfortably set up. Great location, close to great restaurants, grocery, a block from ocean, St. Augustine, etc. We would certainly consider visiting again!
