This was an amazing place to stay! The host was wonderful and incredibly welcoming. They even recommended a wonderful Indian restaurant for us to try. I recommend this home 100%!

Your family was absolutely amazing. We look forward to having you again.
The host Mrs Wendy was very friendly made my family feel welcomed and at home the property was beautiful peaceful roomy and felt like a home environment very well decorated . I highly recommend this property and will definitely stay there again when in the area.
This was a lovely home located just 3 miles from the main gate for Fort Benning. It was the perfect stay for our family. The home is very clean, with a comfortable living area. The host was easy to contact, quick to respond, and very accommodating. Our son graduated from airborne school, but had formation each morning and night, so it was so nice being so close to the base. The neighborhood was quiet and very well kept. We would definitely stay here again when coming to visit our son.
This house was beautiful, clean, and spacious. I would 100% recommend staying here if you are traveling with your family. There’s plenty of room for everyone to space out and not be in each other’s way. The back porch was also nice and we enjoyed throwing ball in the back yard. Lovely stay.

Jennifer, you are so kind. We would love to have you and your family again.
Location was perfect for why we were there. My son graduated basic training so we were near base. The house is close to lots of things to do and places to eat as well, but it’s nice and quiet!! My soldier really appreciated that!! House was like staying at our own home! The only problem we had was the door didn’t like to unlock, but the owners had someone come look at it after we couldn’t get in and had to go find something to do instead of going back to the house. They did work very fast to get someone to the house. And they were very nice and apologized and it wasn’t their fault the door jammed. I would 100% stay here again!
This was the perfect place for us to spend time with our son during his 4 day pass after basic. It felt like our home away from home. Very clean, very nice

Jennifer, it was a pleasure to have you and your family in our home. I hope your son had a wonderful ceremony and all of the family especially Mom enjoyed their time. I look forward to having you and your family again.
The house was beautiful and spacious. Loved the kitchen. We had plenty of room to stretch out and the house was in close proximity to everywhere we needed to go. It was so nice having a home for our soldier to spend the weekend with us instead of a hotel room. Would definitely rent this home again.
We were here a short visit for our son at Fort Moore. We were glad to have rented this home, as it was close to everything. The owners were amazing with communication and the home was set up for us with no issues. The snacks weee delightful after traveling and thank you.
This is a great house to rent and will be back when our soldier turns blue.
Thank you!!
The property was nice and clean. Very spacious for our family of 8. The house was everything we needed. The check in process was a problem because the automatic door lock malfunctioned and we were unable to get into the house. The host Wendy was very helpful as well as the neighbor who finally got the door opened. My favorite Starbucks was 7 minutes away. My aunt and uncle who live in Columbus said the neighborhood was very old and that it is located in the hood. The upstairs carpet could have used some cleaning. The toilette in the master bedroom needs to be tightened. I would have like there to have been a tv in the bedroom. Overall the place was nice. is located in an old area.
I rented this place for family attending my son’s Going Blue and Graduation ceremonies. It was a nice place, great location and comfortable. Wi-Fi was spotty and not strong enough to hold a signal for FaceTime or tv use, while we were there. When I inquired I was just told by the host that the Wi-Fi was the highest mbps and could be spotty because of weather. The weather was clear, so the response was not helpful. There was open cheese, potatoes, eggs and other food in the refrigerator, which seemed odd. I suggest that the “Must Read” items in the binder in the entry way should be added to the VRBO website

This home was beautifully decorated and appointed with everything we could think of or possibly ask for. The host was responsive and absolutely fabulous to work with. Our only concern was that the air conditioning system was not working. There was no air coming from the vents even though we had it set for the fan and temp on 68 degrees. The temp in the house got to 80 degrees. Fortunately, we were out almost every day and in the evenings we could turn on the ceiling fans and open windows to cool it down. The host was responsive and offered suggestions and I'm sure they'll be able to get it serviced soon. We highly recommend this property and the hosts. Thank you!
Wendy and Tywon have a beautiful house in Columbus. It is in great condition, spacious, and close to Fort Benning (not downtown Columbus). Very quiet neighborhood. Check in and check out process was very easy with no problem. The price we paid was fair and competitive for the home. A door key code was provided so there was little contact with the Owners.
A few items did keep the property from a 5-star review. Wendy/Tywon have decided to keep the factory plastic covers on mattresses in two of the bedrooms. This plastic covers were an issue in sleeping comfort. Also, it was a little difficult to feel 100% comfortable in their home. With +3 dozen “house rules” and multiple signs around the property about what not to open prevented us from truly feeling at ease. I do appreciate their desire to keep the home in beautiful condition.

Beautiful lake home
This house is very nice and clean. Location is great for activities at Fort Benning. Several options for restaurants close. That’s the good news. The bad news is there wasn’t any paper towel, tissues, coffee or trash bags. Quite a surprise when trash needed to go out throughout our stay. Several doors that say “do not open” to pantries and such, not sure of trash bags might be in there, but would have been helpful to have access to that area. There isn’t access to the lake, which you can’t see very well through the trees. If you’re looking for nice lake to hang out at or even lake views this isn’t it unfortunately. Dishwasher had dishes in it at arrival. Dish soap in the kitchen and hand soap in the powder room was more water than soap. Yard needs mowed and cleaned up. For the price that is charged to stay here, I was highly disappointed.

Lakefront Drive Stay
The house appeared visually appealing upon arrival, but our stay quickly turned unpleasant due to various issues. The smell was a mix of fertilizer and other unpleasant odors, lingering in our clothes even after we returned home. Our daughter and my wife were the only ones who noticed. The upstairs toilet was unusable due to a rusted chain, and we were not provided with foot coverings, making it risky to walk on wooden stairs. The confusion between footies and shower caps led to an abundance of shower caps instead of necessary foot coverings. The master bedroom had a crooked headboard, lack of storage, a locked closet, unknown stains in the shower, a broken sink, and a toilet not properly attached to the floor. The carpet near the wardrobe mirror had noticeable brown stains. The second bedroom showed signs of wear and tear on walls and closet, prompting us to take videos and photos to avoid causing damage. The furniture seemed more suited for staging than actual use, with wobbly dining room chairs and locked closets and doors.
The garage was off-limits, disappointing when we found out it wasn't safe for parking our rental car. Uber did not service the neighborhood, and the area was confirmed to be undesirable by family. The intense humidity made sleeping difficult despite fans and air conditioning, with a thermostat showing 81 degrees at night, adding to the discomfort.

Good evening Robert, I am sorry you experienced those concerns.
The garage is not for guests and the neighborhood is safe and beautiful. It is odd Uber does not service the area when in fact I use Uber often to leave for the airport. My neighbors also use Uber and Lyft. There is no crime on our street. There isn't a broken sink in our home so I am not sure where you got that from. I am sorry you saw a stain in the shower as my cleaning crew sent pictures and we did not see it. Yes, we communicated about the chain and I am sorry I couldn't get the Plummer to coordinate with your schedule to come and fix it. We did not want him in the house without you being there for liability concerns. As far as the closest with suitcase scuffs on the walls, it happens when guests put their luggage in there. Overall, with us constantly communicating, I told you that you not responsible for any of that.
The air conditioner works well. Heat rises and in a 2000 square foot house it takes time to cool down. GA can be hot at times.
Thank you for the feedback. Take care
