Great location - very close to food, pubs and coffee, and easy walk to the Latin Quarter. Also quite walkable to Salt Hill. The property was in good condition - kept up nicely. Good mattresses. If number of showers matter to you - there is one very good standing shower, one bathtub with a handheld faucet only, and one standing shower that is in a very small space on the ground floor. Hosts were kind and thorough communicators. Included parking spot is a real benefit, though the drive way from the road back to the alley is very tight. All in all it served our needs very well.

Great apartment in a tremendous location for exploring Galway. Very close to store, good restaurants and pubs! Easy walk to center Galway max of 10 minutes. Hosts were very accommodating and great communication. Pete met us at the house and warmly welcomed us. Highly recommend!

Excellent accommodations for a multi-generational group traveling together. Ease of access to downtown Galway was unmatched. A quick walk to everything you want to see! Host was very effective at communicating and all of our needs were met. Parking is tricky for a large car - you will just need spotters! It is harrowing but can be done. Comfortable beds and the welcome snacks were a welcomed touch. Cannot recommend enough!

This place is a gem! Clean, bright and cute with all amenities and walking distance to everything, yet privately tucked away. The hosts were accommodating and friendly and left nice welcoming touches. We had 3 couples in our party and it never felt cramped. We would definitely rent the coach house again if given the opportunity!

Family Trip

We spent 4 nights in Galway and this was the perfect home base for day trips and city adventures. Our only little trick was the narrow drive getting in because we had a large vehicle but other than that the place was perfect!

Galway, capital city of Connacht, is a bustling, lively and creative university city that sits at the end of Lough Corrib and the River Corrib as it wends its way to the Atlantic Ocean. Long a busy merchant town with a serious maritime tradition and backdrop, Galway’s trading history can be seen in town canals, water breaks & salmon weirs, pier heads, and sea-side promenades and walkways, plus rich ancient woodlands that survive in precious pockets around the town.

Our location on The Crescent is part of this older world of Galway going back to the early 1830’s when trains ran to Clifden, and a tramline ran from Eyre Square via The Crescent to the seaside promenades of Salthill. The Coach House and our Town Apartments are contemporary treasures in our elegant old Townhouse some 160 years standing, and we do everything we can to maintain the ambience of this lovely old townhouse, accompanied by contemporary touches and features of today.
