My wife and I and our two teenagers had a wonderful 7 day stay at Flaggy Shore.Wonderful house, beautiful and relaxing area. Enjoyed sitting at kitchen table looking out at ocean. Perfect area for walkers or runners. Just step outside on path/road for three and a half mile loop along the ocean. The house was lovely- great layout for families- two full bathrooms, washer/dryer, relaxing living room and large, comfortable kitchen- all with expansive ocean views! We felt like we found a hidden gem in the Burren and could not have been happier with the property and the location.

Wow! What a house and what a location. Our family loved staying here and woukd recommend it for anybody looking in this area. The house was fantastic, the yard was perfect, and staying on the Flaggy Shore allowed a great launch point for a weeknof daybtrips all up and down the west coast of Ireland. A trip we will remember forever.

My family had a wonderful time in Robert’s home. The setting is beautiful and relaxing! It’s in a perfect spot to walk to the beach, or Linnalla’s ice cream parlor. Robert was extremely accommodating. Everything you need is in the home. I love having the washer and dryer, iron and hair dryer there. Especially since our hairdryer is not compatible with the electrical plugs in Ireland. We stayed there a week and found things to occupy our time that were close by. We drove to the Cliffs of Moher, visiting Doolin Caves on the way, visited the Hazel Mountain chocolate makers, the castle in Kinvarna, had the dinner at Bunratty Castle. None of these were more than an hour away from the house. We will dream of coming back to this peaceful home, watching the sea in the morning while drinking our coffee and listening to the cows across the water.

We loved Linnane’s Lobster Bar just down road; we ate there four times! Highly recommend Connolly’s Bar in Kinvarra for breakfast. Host was super responsive to our questions. Would stay again.

Beautiful location in the Burren on Flaggy Shore with all the outstanding attractions of local history and geology. From a simple walk along the shore, touring the wildly beautiful landscape of the Burren, viewing ancient ruins of abbeys and monasteries, to dining at Linnane's, this property has all you need for a peaceful and relaxing holiday in these troubling times. Great Location!

Our family of six had a wonderful stay at Swallow Cottage! The cottage had spectacular views from every window, it was modern with all the necessities to make our stay comfortable. I would not hesitate to rent this property again!

Magical place!

This was a return trip, and it was as amazing as the first! The home is so comfortable and has everything needed. The location is amazing. Morning and evening walks enjoying the views of the ocean, strolls to Linnanne’s for dinner. Perfect.

Loved our quiet and off the beaten path stay near the village of New Quay. House has beautiful grounds and views but is in need of upgrades to the furnishings, bed linens and towels.

Gorgeous property in perfect location.Well designed and laid out home with all the amenities required for a comfortable holiday. Immaculately clean and tidy with great decor (loved all the art work). Simply fabulous!

We truly loved our stay at this cottage. It is in a breathtakingly beautiful location, beautifully decorated and well-equipped, and is perfectly situated for activities in and around the Burren. We truly enjoyed our walks along the shore and the local folks, to include Diane (who checked us in), were very cordial. Any future trips to Ireland would be sure to include Swallow Cottage.
