Centrally located in quiet picturesque Kahana, we are 4 miles from the popular Whalers Village and 6 miles from downtown Lahaina. You are steps away from swimming in the ocean, or relaxing on the beach in one of our Tommy Bahama chairs whiles enjoying the beautiful views with the sand between your toes. Enjoy the comfort of grilling by the ocean front pool and convenience of walking to dining, shopping, activities and beach rentals at the nearby Kahana Gateway Shopping Center. Access the premier golf courses of Kapalua and Kaanapali which are only minutes away, plus world class snorkeling is just out your front door. We invite you to come relax, listen to the soothing sounds of the ocean and watch the sunset from this stylish space.

When you reach Royal Kahana Resort, you will start to feel the Hawaiian vibe when you enter the lobby and all you see are big beautiful waves crashing from the floor to ceiling windows. If you have a vehicle, you can park in the parking lot for $18.00 a day plus tax which is collected when you arrive by the front desk. They will issue you a parking pass for your stay. Take the elevator up to your charming, new remodeled air conditioned ocean view studio, equipped with a king size bed and a twin sofa bed. The kitchen is stocked with items to prepare your own meals and there is a two seater dining table that can be also used as a work desk in case you have to take care of business while on vacation. The living area has a 55 inch smart tv, blue tooth clock radio, night stands that have built in phone charges and a ceiling fan. The bathroom offers a beautiful walk in shower and vanity. The unit also provides a washing machine and dryer for our guests to use. Floor to ceiling glass sliding doors open up to your lanai where you have breathtaking view of the ocean and the resorts ocean front pool. There is free WIFI, Internet and cable. A basic starter set of kitchen soaps and bath items are provided. If more is needed during your stay, you will need to purchase what is needed. Our studio accommodates 2 guests. Additional guests will be at owners discretion.

Other things to note: Shoreline Erosion
Since the winter of 2015-2016 Hawaii has experienced record high surf conditions mostly during winter months, and as a result the Resort experienced severe shoreline erosion, as did many beach on Maui and throughout all of Hawaii. Large sand bags have been placed on the beaches of the resorts on Kahana Bay to protect the shoreline and adjacent buildings.

For much of the year the sand returns and covers all but the top layers of the sandbags, allowing for a walk on the beach, beach activities or just relaxing with a good book. However, winter currents, storms and high surf can take away the sand leaving little of no beach in front of the building at times.

HOTEL ADVISORY: Royal Kahana is undergoing various projects around the resort for the remainder of 2024. This means noise may be heard around the property during working hours M-F: 9 AM- 4:30 PM. Rates have already been discounted to reflect this impact.
